Duel Masters: Not actually too bad?

When you first look at Duel Masters, it appears to be a less exciting rip-off of Yugioh. But, after watching one episode I have to admit that it's actually pretty funny. It pokes fun at anime cliches, and it throws in little jokes from time to time as well. Sure, the card game is boring to watch and a rip-off of "Magic the gathering", but so is Yugioh. The difference is that Wizards of the Coast made the dual masters card game AND Magic the gathering, so it's not hard to see why there's a resemblance.

i useto think that duel master sucked but now i don't when starts over i'll give it a try but i think it still weird

True, very true...but there is one thing Duel Masters has that Yugioh doesn't....something i'm still trying to figure out!! -_-

I know waht it is! It's a character that actually plays for personal achievemnet, and not that somehow this game affects the fate of the word...

I love Duel Masters! Personaly, I would say it's better than Yu-Gi-Oh... I don't know why... maybe it's like what J.Kudo said, they play for the fun of it, people don't rely on them to save the world.

i watch both yugioh and duel masters, and duel masters will NEVER BE BETTER THAN YUGIOH, i feel embarrassin for the characters wen they try to make jokes because its kinda sad and not funny. pretend your watching yugioh and duel masters from the beginning, and after 10 episodes decide which one you would rather watch if you were to choose one, the majority will choose yugioh because it has an interestin and gripping story. who wants to watch kids play a game for fun????? just go out and watch real kids if thats what you want

I've always liked Duel Masters. I'd always end up on the floor laughing my butt off after a hilarious episode.

Personally I think it's better than Yu-gi-oh, but that's just me.

Well I love them both(Yu-Gi-Oh and Duel Masters) but when it comes to card games I still like Yu-Gi-Oh.
