This is where we post our own reviews for games. All you have to do is create a post within this topic with the title of your game, and write away. It can be as long as you want it, but it has to be long enough to where the reader can get a good idea about the game (Ie, rating some game and the only thing that you say about it is "It was teh suck" isn't acceptable)
The games are scored in the following areas: Story(was the story boring to you, or was it fantastic?), Gameplay (includes controls. Was the game fun to play, with a nice system? Were the controls horrible and hard to do anything?), Graphics(Did the game look good, or did they all just look like oatmeal robots?), Sound(Catchy tunes, decent effects, or grinding effects and lame music?) and Replay value(high= you'll want to play it over and over to extremely low= waste of time and technology).
One game can be rated multiple times by different users, and even have the same score.
Also, if you comment on someone's review, think before you do so. We don't need flamewars or arguments started over a review someone thought was wrong. If you must, then write your own review about said game(s)
(My next post will be an example of how its supposed to look, but it doesnt have to be exactly like that.)

"Sometimes you have to think in 4D."
ET, Atari 2600
ET, Atari 2600
We've heard of the game, and how it now fills an entire landfill in New Mexico. I used to have it and ugh..
Story: 1
Its basically got the same story as the movie, but you cant really tell whats going on anyway.
Gameplay:0
All you do is wander around looking for pieces of your lost phone so you can call your ship to come get you. Sound simple? The pieces are scattered across millions of different pits which you WILL be falling into every three seconds. It wouldn't be so bad if the controls let you out easy, and if your health didnt drop with every movement you make..
Sound:0
You dont want to hear the sound. It reminded me of a fingernail against a chalkboard when you fall into pits. Most everything else is a beep or a boop, and a weird version of the movie's main theme at the title.
Graphics:0
Its bad, even for Atari. Seriously, everything looks the same, and there is lots of green. Lots upon lots of green.
Replay Value: Extremely Low
Dont even bother.

Super Mario Bros.
It's the first Mario game that came out on the NES. It's now downloadable on the Wii Shop Channel
Story: 8
Yeah, the story is short but it shows that the princess of Mushroom Kingdom and the toads are kidnapped by a big scary dragon/turtle hybrid named Bowser, who is king of the koopas. So you must stop him and save the princess.
Gameplay:9
The gameplay is fast pace. When you don't have something special against your enemies, you can simply use your feet to stomp on enemies (except for the spikey ones). The most well known power to use is the fire flower which gives you the ability to shoot fire from your hands.
Sound:7
Like most old games for the NES, this one had music that sound like beeping sounds in a different quality. The main beat is very catchy.
Graphics:8
Because it was made in the old days, the graphics were all 8-bit and pixely. Kinda like the show Code Monkeys.
Replay Value: High
The is a very addictive retro game you must check out. IT's absolute fun.

Re: AA Gamer Reviews
Age of Empires III
story: i actually never even completed a full campaign story so from what i played it's alright
gameplay: AoE III gameplay is quite old, with very little new development on how the economy runs. rushing, camping and booming are still the basic strats where there are different types of rushing. with further patches the game becomes more balanced. one last thing i dislike about this game is lack of micro-managment. micro managment isn't as present in this game and requires more on macro and your economy. as well the length of the game depends on skill level differences, t he map, the faction and of course tactical and strategical thoughts while playing the game. as well the whole idea of leveling up your home city and using "power cards" makes this game more unique then it's predecessors but it also causes a large disadvantage if one's home city is at a lower level then anothers
Sounds: the audio is great delving in multiple languages that suit the unit and the country of origin, like people from france actually speak french! as well the explosions of cannons are quite nice and the birds and the music is top notch
Graphics: mainly matters on your graphics card the worse your graphics card the worse the graphics.at top notch it's beautiful to even just watch the graphics in this game
replay value: i always tend to replay this game atleat once a month. but if your really into it you could probably play around 3 hours a day online because the online feature doesn't contain any major storyline and you actually fight a against real player
Story: 7
Gameplay: 8
Sound: 9

Battle For Middle Earth 2
story: the story takes place in the northern part of middle earth during the war of the ring. Rivendell and the other regions weren't always free and able to do anything they wanted and were being attacked much like Rohan and Gondor. the story is quite good following the history detailed in the apendixes, but liek every rts the stroy isn't what draws you into the game
Gameplay: BFME2 brings along a new type of gaming mode using a virtual map and similar to the total war games where one must deal with attacking, defending and managing your regions. this game play even by myself lasts long and is quite fun
in the real RTS experaince the game is quite fast paced where games will usually last from 10 minuets to half an hour. if you can't compete with fast mouses and typing you will probably be at a disadvantage
the economy is simple where there is only 1 resource and rushing tends to win the game.
unfortuantely there are some fault where the height bonus (bonus from shooting off hills or castle walls) allows archer like mirkwood and rangers to shoot halfway across the map
Graphics: the graphics are beutiful and the models are too. The physics system is also quite good in this game, just well done in general
sounds: the sounds are amazing taking music from the movies and EA also includes some of their own. the voices are also taken from the movie and it is actually Vigo mortenzan or Orlando bloom speaking. also the music changes while entering combat adding mood to the combat. for example if any Evil side is winning the music will change to something dark and if the good Side is winning the music plays that glory for gondor or someother song which iditifies with "good"
Replay Value: high i played this game more than a year, and i still have it on my computer! this game although the longer you play the more boring it gets and EA's poor customer service still harms the way of patches. there are currently three player made patches which balances the game further from patch 1.08

Re: AA Gamer Reviews
I'm always looking for a way to shamelessly plug this game...
So, here I go
Planescape: Torment (PC)
Know this. There is nothing on all the Planes that can stay the hand of Justice when it is brought against them. It may unmake armies. It may sunder the thrones of gods. Know that for all who betray Justice, I am their fate. And Fate carries an executioner's axe.
I see.
No, you do not see. Pray that you never will.
A snippet from one of my favorite scenes in the game. Now, on to the review!
STORY: 10/10
The past is past, and histories care little for a-speaking the truth of it.
Planescape's story is, in my opinion, the greatest story to ever be told in an RPG. Ever. It begins with our protagonist waking on a slab in a mortuary. His body is covered from head to toe in brutal scars. The man has no memory of how he got there, nor what his own name his. The only clues he has to his identity is a strange tattoo on his arm, and a message that has been literally carved into the skin on his back, telling him to find a man named Pharod.
About 10-20 minutes into the game, you'll uncover the fact that this Nameless One is, in fact, immortal in an odd sense. He can die, but always revives somehow shortly afterwards. And he has been to this mortuary an innumerable number of times.
Your objective, simply enough, is to uncover the truth of this man's past. The story takes some indescribable twists, leading you across the multiverse itself in your quest for the truth. You'll meet tons of memorable characters, both good and evil. And I emphasize memorable. This is one of those games where you'll get to know everyone so well, you'll wish all games had this much characterization.
All of your party members have a complex history behind their actions, yet they are all unified by a common theme of Torment. And there are some surprising twists in their backgrounds, none of which I care to go into. I don't want to ruin the story for anyone interested
GAMEPLAY: 5/10
The weak suffer. I *endure*.
This is, unfortunately, the game's weak point. There...really isn't a whole lot of gameplay. It uses a point-and-click interface very similar to Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, Diablo, etc. And that's it, really. But you'll be spending most of your time reading pages upon pages of text. Most of the game's file size is text, actually. The script is ENORMOUS. So I hope you like reading, as Planescape: Torment is really less of a game, and more of an interactive novel.
GRAPHICS: 8/10
Well I, for one, plan on discovering the secrets of the multiverse by rubbing cottage cheese on my belly and eating vast quantities of fresh-water fish. Mmm... cheese.
I never liked rating graphics. I look for artistry rather than "uber hardcore super detail", so this section's always been a little hard for me to rate. But anyway. Planescape earns itself an 8, losing points simply because in my copy of the game some of the spell effects were really screwy. But that's just personal bias. The backgrounds are beautifully drawn, and the character sprites are large, detailed, and easily distinguishable from one another.
Oh how I wish this game got a modernized 3D remake =/
SOUND: 7/10
I sleep in a drawer.
The music is brilliant, in my opinion. Especially the main theme, which I once had stuck in my head for a week. The background music fits each area nicely, and my only complaint is that there aren't that many tracks, and they can get a bit repetitive after a while.
There are also a few quips of voice acting, mostly when a character levels up, and a few end-game sequences. Not much else to say =/
REPLAY VALUE: ??/10
This depends entirely on you, the player. Do you like re-reading books?
OVERALL: 9/10
Simply a must-play for anyone who's a fan of a good story. That's all there is to it.
