Has there ever been a level you found so hard, it's like a nightmare? Or, those one resemble a nightmare? Tell me up to five of the nightmarish levels in any game you played. Here's mine:
1. Stage 6 in Contra 3 The Alien Wars (snes)
2. Little Big Island in Super Mario 64 (n64)
3. The Basement level 3 in Clockwork Knight (Saturn)
4. Creepy Castle in Donkey Kong 64 (n64)
5. Lightining Lookout in DKC3 (snes)

The Raptor Nest in the SNES version of Jurassic Park, hands down. Everything looks the same, and there is no forseeable way to find the nest and then find the exit, except for wandering around for 45 minutes.

The mine cart levels from Donkey Kong Country those were just plain aggravating to go through when I was a kid they still are even now.
The mini bosses and the giant worm ect boss stages in Zombies ate My Neighbors those were a nighmare.
The nighmare system effected stages in Mega Man X6.
Quickman's stage in Mega Man 2.

They weren't that bad! They are my favourite levels from Donkey Kong Country. AwesomeTwilight Night Wolf wrote:The mine cart levels from Donkey Country those were just plain aggravating to go through when I was a kid they still are even now.
umm, Golden Sun 1. The final Boss is extremely hard. Took me ages to beat.
annnnnnnd, The Legend of Zelda. That is the very first Zelda game, on NES. It is very hard to beat. I blame the lack of information the game gives you on where to go. Dungeons are hard and you can't save in them. The whole game is just punishing. Although I haven't gotten up to it I'm assuming Ganons castle or whatever the last temple is is the hardest!
great friends: Jesus Christ. Dragon X. Locke. Ender. Bambi. Russel.

The hardest part of any game is definitely Gym leader Brock in Pokemon Yellow. Pikachus just no good against rock and I like using Pikachu so i cant win

Re: Top 100 nightmare levels
Oh gosh I think the only game that still gives me the complete run-around is that dang Ghost & Goblins from the good old NES days. That naked knight just couldn't throw and or jump fast enough.
I still can't believe how rediculously hard it is for me my gosh I get to level 5 and it goes down hill from there especially cuz I die all my lives and have to start at the beginning.....sooooooo pisses me off.
But its addicting, I hate having to stop if only to sleep lol.

Who am I...can you tell me? What am I...do you know? Do I have a purprose? Do I have a home? Endless dreams of my forgotten... Sightlessness of my seen...
