Mass Effect or Halo 3?

Halo 3 kinda looked dumb, I played Mass Effect, it was alot better than Halo 3 was. I dunno why.

Halo 3 = for people who want to have loads of fun online

Mass Effect = Solo players who have too much time on their hands


Both games are good it's just a matter of gaming style and taste. My preference would be Halo 3 ^^

I never played online, so I don't even know. I rented Mass Effect, I almost forgot about the online stuff.

Halo 3 is only fun online, the campaign was just simply too easy on legendary, even when collecting all the skulls -.- The online feature however makes it one of the most fun games right now (putting aside Guitar Hero ofcourse, lol)

Games should be rated according to the merits of the actual game. Multiplayer is just a nice bonus. In that respect, Mass Effect is a much better game than Halo 3, which had a very disappointing campaign, but at least the multiplayer will keep me from trading it back to Gamestop for a while.

Mass Effect should have got an award, it was a great game. BioShock got the game of the year on Spike TV's VGA award's 2007.

Lost Planet was okay, I never could get past some of it. Assasins Creed I heard from other gaming sites was a great game. Though, I never played it yet.

And too Gravy-Train, yeah it's true that if you look at the whole game and then compare the two of them, Mass Effect is without doubt the best of them. But I myself usually just choose games based on how fun I have playing them, and I gotta say, I have alot more fun sitting on a bunch of peoples corpses in Halo 3 calling them noobs in the mic than playing trough Mass Effect. But even with that said, both of them are truly amazing games Let's hope more future games will be like this, or better.

And just on the side, Assassins Creed is a great game if you put aside the bugs and the so...uhm, don't really know how to express this in english but eh, when you do the same thing over and over again You tire quickly if you really aren't into games like Hitman or Tenshu or something like that (but alot better of course, haha...).

Eh, we should be talking about Mass Effect more then? I am waiting for Mass Effect 2 (if they have one)

Both games are good. I play more multi-player in Halo 3 with my friends and online. I play Mass Effect when I have the feeling to go solo.

In general, I prefer Halo 3 over Mass Effect even thought they are both great games.

Mass Effect is supposed to be a trilogy, but now that EA picked up Bioware I don't know what will happen... I do prefer Mass Effect more since I'm more of a campain type person since I don't have time for Live...

Halo is over-hyped nowadays, that's why they come out with so many different games that are like Halo. And Halo has been out longer than Mass Effect has.
