It's kinda disappointing that the manga is going in another direction after showing us the start of the new battle with the top 3 espada.

Well, I think they'll switch from Ichi vs Ulqiorra and Espada vs Gotei 13.

And, about the image, the part with Aizen, Tousen, and Gin zooming out was in the opening credits as well.

The latest chapter seems short, I was thinking Yay! Hopefully Ichigo won't be on the edge of death this time. And it's so obvious that Ulquiorra isn't going to hurt Orihime because Ichigo will get there first.

Also, you the battle between Espada vs. Gotei 13. Do you think the Vizards will get involved or will they just watch or something. After all it does seem that Shinji Hirako wants pay back after what Aizan did to him and his friends.

Well, in the last chapter of the turn back the pendulum arc, Shinji said that he owed Aizen, and then it showed the vaizards all leaving with their weapons. They are definitely going to fight longside the Gotei 13 though.
And the last chapter was 23 pages which is a little longer than usual.
