And as I dream
The tears play back once more

I open my eyes
And looking into the darkness
All I can hear is silence

I take so little solace from it
But its all the solace I'll get

[That Deafening Silence.]
For my hearts been ripped out
And has left a hollow pit

Its monday
And I'm already giving up

Tuesday tomorrow
And I'm not ready to get back up

Roll over and go back to sleep
Maybe later I'll be able to weep again
For what I've done

Is there anything I can do to make it better? I don't do poetry often, and when I do, the tones and way the poem is read seems to change with every one, so I really don't know if I've done a good job or a bad one.
