Is anyone else a big fan of Deep Purple & it's immediate relatives?

I am. Deep Purple is awesome and most of the immediate relatives were awesome (except for Whitesnake...)

To be honest, I quite enjoy Whitesnake. Their earlier material is very good, but I'd rather forget about their post Slide It In stuff. Although some of the songs on 1987 were kinda funny, it did suck :p.

I'm assuming if you don't like late era Whitesnake, you weren't a fan of that whole Coverdale-Page thing then?

It's well worth a listen. Very good for an album that was just created to spite Bobby Plant.
