The premise didn't really grab me, but the trailer did:

So after seeing that I went on to read an interview at IGN.com with Frank Beddo, the creator, and that got me even more interested in what's to come. It's not just books, it's graphic novels, videogames, and movies. Definitely going to try to keep an eye on this series.
