I haven't. I wish I can! I remember my friend asking me what was geisha means. Then my other friend said, "Chinese slut." "Japanese...Geisha of Memoirs." I said. Then after a minute my friend said, "Memoirs Of Geisha." And we burst out laughing... 8-[

I give this a 12 out of 10.

Everything - the actors, the story, the costumes, the acting itself was inspiring and beautiful. I can't even put words into this as I explain. This movie is one of my favourite movies I have seen, and will remain to be forever. I think the film has won two academy awards, including actor rewards to the main character.

Can't wait 'till it comes out to video at the end of this month. I'll be the first to buy it in my town, heh.

^that was a beautiful scene

having read the book and seen the film, I must say that the book is better, but the film is still astounding. they just kinda twist somethings around in the movie, lol.

i give the film a 9.5/10

True, it was unique and strange, but not freaky. I found it to be astounding, and nicely preformed. I loved the way she used the traditional dance moves to go with the music.

Geisha translates into artisan. Geisha were essentially high class Japanese prostitutes who performed in the fine arts.
