Horror movies...and then some!~

Alright, alright. "Huge" horror/suspense film fan here. Especially zombie movies.. it's like, "Show me the blood and guts".

The Grudge - probably my most favourite film. Great story involving some japanese culture. Everything about it was just beautiful.
White Noise - this is one of the few movies that actually gave me a bit of the chills. Ghosts from the wired world made the film to have an awesome beginning to end.
Dawn of the Dead - zombie movie. The only thing I didn't like about it was that they didn't exactly say what made the virus start in the first place. Other than that, nice blood and some comedy to go with it.
Resident Evil/Resident Evil: Apocalypse - yet another zombie movie. Some would say this would go more under the genre of "science fiction", but who cares? Their games are the best, and the whole story is explained terrifically.

Well, the first one was really not that interesting. It had some parts that made no sense whatsoever, just to get the audience more freaked out. The second one was better.. though many scenes were unnecessary. Had some comedy too, since it involves teenagers doing stupid stuff.

I love horror movies, but now it seems horror movies are now for the gore than the mental scare. I really enjoy asian horror movies, such as The Phone, Tale of Two Sisters, and The Grudge. But lately I have't seen any horror movies really worth the watch, except the oldies. If anyone has any suggestions for movies I'd love to here them.

Please do. I've also seen some asian horror films. I think one was called, "The Eye" and was one of my favourites.

As for "The Hills Have Eyes", I'm still curious as to what it is about. Anyone know something? I'll try checking up on Yahoo.

no clue what "The Hills have Eyes" is about. It looks weird and seems to be about some sort of camp where people do experiments on them...

The Hills have eyes is about miners, who refusing to leave their homes when told that nuclear missiles are going to be dropped nearby them, decide to take shelter in the mines. The radiation deforms them and I guess because of the lack of food in the mines they decide to become cannibals. This movie is based off an original, but this version is really graphic. My question is if you heard that your home was going to have nucleur missiles dropped nearby would you decide to stay and then take shelter in mines?????

Love the classic horror movies!~ Night of the Living Dead. Creature from the Black Lagoon. The Mummy, Frankenstein,Dracula, I love them!!~

Another good one would be, "The Serpent And The Rainbow* Made in 1988. It supossidly based on a true story. The movie is not your normal zombie flick. It's set in Haiti. It's actually really really good and has a nice plot to it too^^

"Hannable" is not a horror movie! Jeebies... it's a thriller I do belive... if not... then drama... it's in that section... but not a horror movie!

"The Eye" Looks good... I might rent it sometime. I used to know the japanese name for that... but somehow... it has escaped my mind...

"Polterghist" is a good horror movie. Some say the movie was cursed... because everytime they shot a nother sequel to it, someone always seemed to die. After the lil girl from the moies passed away, they stopped production all together.

"From Dusk Till Dawn" Those are some funny funny horror movies.

If you can find it, "Ripper: Letter From Hell" and then, "Ripper: Letters From Within" Both good horror movies^^ The second one makes your mind kinda go boom. It's really confusin' and hard to follow, but in my eyes that's what makes it good^^
