Yes I am happy to make this thread, and finally I can say that we only have 18 days left!!!! and with that said this will be the place to post your thoughts on a game I have been waiting for.. for years. Square has been a tease lol but soon it will be with in our grasp.

Discuss: FF12, what you like and what you do not like about it.

There will be no flameing in this thread period.

Well, EGM reviews of the game included the following scores: 8.5, 9.0, and 9.5

Excellent scores, for the most part.

I'm very excited for FFXII, and I've been waiting for a long time. If I were to have any one problem with it, it would be this; the story, while more mature and politically driven, doesn't seem as involving. The characters don't appear to be as memorable as previous ones.

Secondly, I'm worried about the active battle system in the game. Though I'm sure it will be rewarding, I think it will take some difficulty getting used to, and furthermore, I'm sure many fans will miss the older, classic turn based system.

Still, I am QUITE excited!!

Yes, I did, but it's already been played in Japan, not to mention imported. True, the information I've gathered are just people's opinions, but I think they are valid.

Please don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing FFXII, I love teh FF series. I just wanted to point out some stuff.

ah I see, well alright than but if the character did not have a story would there be any plot at all? The japanese are still star struck with 10 and 7. I believe ff12 will be awsome, I read what you read so I know what you speak of but the fact remains let us play the title and judge for our selves, frankly I believe it will be a treat compared to the watered down rpg's I played this year, while grandia 3 and dragon quest was nice its no ff title.

Yes yes, I know what you're saying, but in that same regard, just don't get TOO hyped up. No game is perfect, every game will have a flaw of some degree. And you are correct, it comes down to one person's opinion, but it's nice to look at and analyze other's opinions.

Dude I believe ive earned the right to be hyped up man, and I cant believe im hearing this from you, just a few hours ago you said you cant wait.
