will be awesome.

For those of you who don't know, it's based on Franky Millers graphic novel 300 which is utterly fantastic. And modelled, of course on Battle of Thermopylae. In which 300 grossly outnumbered Greek soldiers made a stand against an entire Persian army, knowing it meant their deaths.

Go see it! And stop a moment to think, reflect on, and appreciate those 300 brave soldiers who gave their lives to give us such a great graphic novel, and hopefully, a great movie too.

I thought it was the Spartans? If I remember right they also had about 700 Thespian volunteers as well...

sparta was the greatest military city-state they wouldn't except the weak if a baby was born unhealthy they would leave them on a hillside to die.boys would enter army training around the age of 9 or 12.if memory serves me right sparta was the only city-state not taken over by the mighty macedonians.they were fools though their economy suffered heavily because of their short sightedness they refused to change which screwed them over horribly(sorry about the history lessons....i just love the spartans)


the spartans were the ultimate warriors so yes,this movie BETTER be awesome

I am so psyched about this movie, it looks so utterly gorgeous and creative, like it's gonna be a movie unlike any other, I'm sure it's gonna blow my mind, from what I've seen in the trailers, I suggest it to anyone!

Holy sh*t, that was movie was freakin amazing. If I had to pick a single word to describe the film, it would be epic.

Damn, this 300 was so intense! So violent too. Ha ha, it's such a man movie; violence, blood, and sex all rolled into one.

Ha ha, on a more serious note, the movie really does have a deep plot and powerful theme. I'll be writing a review soon, but in the meantime, go watch it.
