Squall is deffinitely cooler, dont get me wrong i think rikimaru is amazing!! But squall is awesome and i havnt met a single person who says they dont like him!!
Plus he had a Gunblade ^ ^

In a stand-up fight Squall wins.... If you bring abilities and magic into it Squall still wins. Rikimaru will have to utilize stealth right away... I have played both games as well... Just to throw that out there...

it depends, rikimaru would kill squall, unless squall saw him coming. because if rikimaru is bad at anything, it's hand to hand combat. therefore i pick squall.
