Ravenloft (Gothic Fantasy) RP Ch. V "Labarinth"

Not caring about what she was telling her, Lazuli just wanted someone to pay for taking her from her home... Raising her right arm, about to strike she felt something pull it back moments away from striking the girl again. Looking up, she found a shackel placed around it again.

Looking down, she saw anothinf coming around her left. once back on, the forxce of the chains pulled her back to where she woke up on the floor. Hitting the wall behind her, her head looked like a bobble head for a moment. After getting back up, she tryied furiously and futialessly to get free. Seems the chains were stronger this time. She the looked up and saw another larger shackle go out searching for the other creature to gain control of them both once more...

Lobo was not happy when that collar had reattached itself to his neck. "so force alone can not kill these creatures. How about those tomes wonder how impotant those tomes are to there survival. I'm not as stupid as him. Fool!" He shouted out striking out at the sorcessess who he had never seen before. He manged to get the tome sending it flying pages flying and all. With his pitch black eyes He stared at the creature darkly the creature fell almost overly dramticly. There is no way that worked it was way too easy. It was then that he felt it the tug of the coallar around his neck it pulled him back slamming him agaisnt the cold stone wall. Lobo caughed up blood and glared at that female and said coodly. "I am no beast I will never help you. You [censored] I should have had him kill you when I had the chance." He spat in her eye.

"So then, you found her secret, I always told her that taht was a weakness... she should have chosen something much harder to destroy than a book" As she said that Lobo spat in her eye causing her to become annoyed.

Wiping the spit from her eye she said "Oh now the beast is getting rebelious."

She began to make strange gestures and slowly a wall began to shimmer in front of her, seperating her from the two "creatures".

Watching as the wall arose before her eyes, she was in aww. Mad and ready to kill her, yet amazed by the power these humans possed. She could tell that the other one with her knew more about this then her...

"How does she do that? How do you get to be so much more stronger like you have?"
She asked looked at him. Not being one to be around humans, she was fully confused by how they did these things. She then remembered who that person was...

It all came back now,
***The one that man had used to steal him gold to lure me... The one that he had gotten introubl with the guard with... The one I didn't help in the city...***
She remembered all she was, all the person on the other side of the weird wall was. She knew why she was here, but didn't understand why that twisted creature from before, the one that brought her into this wasn't here...

"What about that man from city? What are going to do to the on that lured you to steal the gold? Got you hurt by the guard in the first place? What of him?"
She asked her raising her head to it. She was asking her what had happened to the one that began this all... Why it had gotten to be free, and they were left here to suffer...

Lobo stared over at the ranting girl. He sighed and said coldly. "Hey stop yammering on aobut the past and get in the now. Lobo was absolutly not in the mood to be trapped with a crazy tiger girl. He had figured out the other girls weakness her scythe she didnt want to be seprated from it back in the city. The tome was obvious and the last creature. Lobo was pretty sure he had seen a sword something the other two didnt have but there captor was a much driffernt story he saw no viable weakness on her. He sighed again and said to the girl. "I'm another side of him a colder side. It allows me to be stronger and smarter than him. I can only be relased while hes weilding the shadow fang katana or while hes extrmely mad. So will you please stop babbling and start helping me think of a way out of this." [/i]

The woman with the harp and scythe stepped up and bowed down before the otehr woman, "may I speak mistress?" she said.
"Oh, you know something they were thinking Ashania?" The girl said.
"yes mistress it appears that he is trying to find our weaknesses, and I would like to tell him about them." Ashantra replied in her beautiful voice.
after laughing maniancly for a moment the girl replied "I think that that would be interesting." She said.

Ashantra stood. again and moved twards Lobo. "Firstly it's a sicle not a scythe. Secondly that's no my weakness. The woman you destroyed was a fool, a book could be easily eliminated, and his sword isn't his weakness either. As for my mistress... she isn't foolish enough to have a wakness in her posetion."

At taht comment the girl started laughing, "And as for the girl, that man was my foolish father, since I never came home he had assumed I died. He was cursed to eternally try and conquest the world to attempt to impress me to return to him. However I was cursed to live as taht pahetic girl untill he died... so when he tried to ressurect his other daughter to help him in his conquests I killed him... and became freed to lord over this land... and now I will never be happy untill I surpass my father and conquer RAVENLOFT!"

She looked back up at her with a little grin.
"I should have known... evil apples never fall far from the tree... Not like helping you would have saved my predicament any... Your father was after me anyway... This is my fate and I know why it has happened. I do not fear it nymore... Just answer me one more thing... What ever became of my home... the woods. What did you and your creatures do to it?"
She asked her as the small grin faded. She was dearly worried about her wood. If it was dead, then she had no reason to keep living. If it was spared, then she had done her job of protecting it. No matter, what ever way the coing went she would die. One would be with honour and the other witout it. With a little grin she though,
***Well at least I won't be spreading the curse... it will atop with me...***
She then made a little chuckle to herself. She was ready to die and face her fate...

Lobo stared at the girl with discontent. "Well if theres no point in thinking my way out of this cause you can read minds...or body language it doesnt matter which. So much as you can and thinking in my head wont help so instead I'm going to blurt out every little thing thay comes to my brain." He said in a singsong voice. "I wonder how mny stars there actually are? I wonder how that wall was made?" Lobo contiuned to jabber on like this hoping that the girl would catch the hint.

"and what about the parrents?" the girl replied "We could help you bring them back...If you help us..." Ashania said almost in a motherly voice.

"Your wood is fine however I plan on having you destroy it willingly or not... unless..." She said schemingly as she started to cast another spell waving her arm and gesturing, opening a hidden door to the outside that fell about 18 feet to the ground. "unless you or him find some way of getting you out of those chains..."

Lobo stopped his nosenscial rantings at the metion of his parents. The nomal lobo would have lashed out at hearing this vile demon even metio his parents. Fourtantly this Lobo was much smarter. He merly bit his lip and listned in grim silence he saw the door open. I know all they would be able to do is bring back these pathetic fakes I've gotta keep my cool here "Alright so all we have to do is get out of the chains get to an immposibly high door and survive an 18 foot drop. Oh well I've done harder things in my life." Lobo looked around for anything that could even have a small chance of freeing them his claws wouldnt work this time..not on the chains at least. He looked at the two scheming girls in horror. No they cant want me to

She looked back up to her, then to the door way.
"How do you expect to me to kill what I love? So your saying if I can get out of these, my wood shall be free? If I stay in them, your going to kill it?"
She asked them. Looking out at the window, then too the witch like girl. While looking backa nd forth she looked for any other possible ways out. She figured that open doorway is just too good to be true...

"I never said willingly... I just said you would" calmly replied the girl, "and there is a way for you to become free... but not easily..."

Lobo looked down at the floor. I cant do that I just...cant With his eyes still cast downward he said. "Looks like you've got us trapped I'm too weak to do what you want me to." Oh god how could these twisted things want me to do THAT to her. I just..cant if only I weren't so weak. Lobo shivered with cold and despair. We're doomed and its all my fault. Damnit! Its over for me and her and her woods. Its all over Lobo kept his eyes to the floor while shaking uncontrollably

Looking down to the chains around her reight wrist. She brough it up to her face, she had to exaimine it. Cast iron, no way in breaking it, no matter how much she were to bash it with anything.

Looking around the room more in search of what was out there. She saw that it was one large stone place. The walls, cealing and floor. It was all hand laid stones... Some shelves here and there. The poeple still there nd the pages from that book like thing. Then seeing the throne thing next to another wall.

One thing she remembered from being a child... She loved to hide things in the house. Like this place, it was hand layed bricks... There are always some bricks that are lose in every structure. Finding them would prove difficult...

She peared around the room once more... Still not finding what didn't seem to belong. Leaning on the wall, she thought about where that key stone would be...

"It is appearing that you are stalled in your action. I will give you until this days sun fallls to finish choosing your path." and with that the girl moved over to a stone in the wall nad pressed against it, causing a loud grinding sound to screach through the chamber opening the wall above th throne allowing the horizon to shine through casting a long shadow onto the floor. "When the sun is at its last breath for the day the shadow will reach the opposite wall." and the shadow was only about 4 stones from the wall, twice the height of the girl, and was slowly growing. THe girl's throne and that half of the room remained in total shadow.

Leaning on the wall, she heard the girl talk about there being a time limit.
***Ok, so I have to get this done soon...***
She thought. Making a tiny move, to lean a bit different, she felt something move. Moving her hand to the spot, she found it.

Not turning around, yet she knew the others knew what she was doing; unsheathing her claws, she used one og them to shimmy the stone out. It was working like it had in her house. After geting one brick out, she moved onto gwet a couple others out.

Once she could fit both her paws in the hole, she found a key... Trying it in both locks, it wasn't the key she needed.Letting out a sigh, she sat there pawing with the key.
