Whoa! Cool! Korean does seem like a hard language to learn. I'm a huge fan of Younha, who sings both Japanese and Korean and her Korean songs are like 'holy crap that sounds hard'

I speek portuguese ever since i started talking and i know it is a hard languge XD. But i get what you mean. In our case, portuguese it's hard even to portuguese people. XD

Btw Boa Kwon sings in Japanese, English and Korean too, i like her a lot.

I've heard of Boa but never heard any of her songs. But yea, Youhna has a beautiful voice! And she's so cute too!

And yea, I've been speaking english all my life (how boring) so I don't know if it's a hard language to learn but I've been told it's easy!

Portuguese was born in the old Galiza and north Portugal, it's born from the latin that came to us by the roman colons on the 3rd century b.c.. So it's similar with Spanish. It also develops into several Portuguese dialects, for example Brazilian Portuguese (if you check the post by Tenshi on the beginning of this thread you can see the difference). It’s the 5th language more talked over the world.

I think English is a easy language, but I can only say in a Portuguese point of view. Maybe as Portuguese has so many things, it's easier for us to learn a language with less things.
But I don't think English is boring at all! Even when I was very little I always wanted to learn English, and I worked very hard when I first started. I could have been a good student at my first year of English, but I had a bad teacher, and in my second I was one of the bests but I had Tenshi in my class so I obviously couldn't beet her XD

When I said 'boring' I meant that it's the only language I'm fluent in. But yes, I don't mind being fluent in english because, after studying several other languages, I realize how diverse it really is.

Usually Portuguese people like other languages too, because our language is so complex that we find some other quite easy. We study Portuguese for 12 years (minimum) and if you go to a university in the languages area you have Portuguese there too. Actually there are some exceptions, I just finished Portuguese classes now and I'm at my first year of the university, though my area is not languages. ^^

And yea, I guess english is really easy, not that you say you guys must take 11 years minimum of portugese...

Yes I do think english is easyer, but it's just my opinion so... ^^
