You guys have no grasp of history in music(Sushigirl,Blaze,ChiefBrody,Rotten head).Your just stereotyping, listen to classic rap,if you still think its about money then you are wrong.

I like a little bit of all kinds of music. The genre of music that I lean more to, though, is Rock.

In my opinion, I don't think that rap and rock should conflict each other, or that anyone should veiw them in a way that would suggest that. It's all music, man, can't the genre's just live in peace?

Anyway, I'd have to agree with what Jiraiya is saying; Rock did in fact originate from the old black soul and blues music (Which I like, BTW, it's good music).

I wasnt intending to insult no one,I was just saying most people are stereo typing these days.Back then it was all neutral from what I've heard, but now we are fighting against eachother because of music. Why??

Rock is best because it has power and meaning behind it's lyrics and rhythems. Only a limited amount of Rap has meaning (let alone power) in it's lyrics. Last time i checked, nailing a hoe in the @$$ wasn't that powerful.

"all rock makes a statement, and that statement is.............F**K YOU)"

Rap has the same statement, but in a more way it can reply.
