Duchiere frowned, and sighed. "I think its really just because she wants to feel bad about all the things she's done. She wants to make sure she's alive, that she still has a heart, that when its all said and done, whether it rips her apart or not, she'll still be able to feel."

"well," He rubbed his neck. "I couldn't tell you where she is rightly, becuase, well, I don't know." He snapped his fingers, and they left the red area. "But you'll find her somewhere in here. I should be going now." He smiled, waving some, and disappeared.

She was sitting, playing checkers by herself. "You don't really have to scream. I'm better now. We can leave. I was just waiting for you to finish with Duchiere."

Kya smiled and shut the door behind her "sry i havent called" she said in a low tone

"I wouldn't have expected you to. I mean, its not easy anywhere around here," He said, shaking his head. "and I've been busy with some of the council stuff..."

"Pain..." She shrugged, standing up. "Its not bad pain. It reassures me. I may be a demon, but humans aren't the only ones with remorse."

Kya sighed "im guessing that u know about the bounty"

Kohaku sighed, not looking at her. "I do. I'll try to do what I can, but... I'm not sure what there is to do. I can talk to the other members... try to get you pardoned... but I'm just not sure."

Why don't you stop then if you feel pain from killing you shouldn't be a merc

"Because its always what I've done." She said, looking up. The shadows seemed to twinkle like the night sky as she did this, and she smiled softly. "It was what my father wanted. My older brother's weaker than me, and I've always had a certain... I don't know... ignorance of pain and emotions. He always told me that I'd make a good merc. And I love doing it. If I didn't... I'd be better off dead. Its my job, its what I do. I don't have anything else to do in this life."

Kya sighed "its ok Kohaku i dont want u getting into trouble over me" she was leaning against the wall and got up walking over to the bed where Di lay "but i want u to do me a favor" she looked back at him

But still..if you feel sadness for the people you kill theres really no point...I don't want to see you drift in the darkness like I did..
