Teen pregnacy has been around since forever... I think some people for get about that... I for one is aiming for marriage and not doing it when I'm a teen. No way. Guys try but No. I'll beat you up if you tried. Assholes... Sorry personal experience.

down here its not uncommon for someone to have a baby. at school atlease 5 or 6 girls get pregnet a year. sex is nothing big, but people also have AIDS. the school wont give up who has it (i think thats wrong) so its spreading more and more. when i was in the sixth grade i had a really preverted boyfriend who only wanted sex but i didnt give it to him. so its the persons choice. they need to set limits early in the relationship and let the other person know that they dont want to have sex(or they do). I get asked all the time if i'm still a vergin and some of those times i was forced to lie and say i wasnt. peer preasure is the first problem.

My opinion on this is pretty simple, follow what the law says, it wasnt made because of nothing. Even though nobody cares for the law.

I agree. I'm aiming for marriage too. I know three of my friends who were pregnant in the tenth grade and they ruined their lives. Their boyfriends ditched them and they had to take care of their own babies

. They didn't had enough money and they couldn't affort a babysittier; we were in the tenth grade!. I wish I could help my friends, but I was at school!
I'm going to wait for marriage.

i cant see myself have sex with anyone, anyone real. its kinda nasty when u think about it but i dont want to wait at all. i really want to be a slut but i know that there are STDs out there and there is no way of know if a person has on unless u can see it.

The best way I heard to prevent infection of an STD is not to have unprotected sex. Guys, use a condom.

I heard the UK has a big teenage pregnancy problem. I bet if there were condom adverts being played on TV there would be a reduction. There was a time when MTV was the only channel in the UK that would play adverts advertising durex brand condoms, yet now they don't seem to. If more people were made aware of how to use contraception, there would be fewer teenage pregnancies and few cases of STD infection. Alas there are those that seem to tip toe around the subject without fully addressing it.

true. in the USA we have classes that we have to take that tell us about the kinds of birthcontrol.

hmm, well in new york the whole thing with sex is basically peer pressure.

not only on the girl's part, but the guys too.

Kids want to have sex to not feel left out. Most teens do it to keep a bad relationship and try and mke it better.

so many relationships ive had have been screwed up over this, mainly because after we do anything with eachother, sex or not, they want us to be right there to drop our pants.

i dont know about you, but i have a little more personal pride than that.

Anyways, as long as they know the consequences and what they'll loose and can never get back.

I regret it. i think most people who make this decision so young regret it and wish they would have waited.

What worries me the most is teens dont get tested, so they can end up with syphilis(spelling?) or worse, getting aids from someone infected with HIV.

For a reasonable age, I think it relaly depends on you. I mean if your mentally prepaired enough and ready for it, then I guess it's all personal preferance. You can't stop how people think and what they do on those thoughts. All we can relaly do is punish and let be aware of risks, it's all up to them. I'd say for a good age myself, about 17ish. For some people though, that's way too late. We just ned to learn to make better decisions and not act on instinct/horomones sooo much.

the question of condom distribution is a touchy subject. does giving out condoms encourage safe sex? or does it promote sex at the same time? i think the former, but that's just me.

as for virginity, i think it's your choice. if you want to bang your girlfriend, that's up to you. if you want to wait until your married, that's up to you. if you want to be like quagmire (family guy), that's up to you (as long as you stay away from me).

i'm 16. i'm gonna try to stay "pure" until marriage, but no promises. sex is something you do with someone you love, not something you wait to do with the one you love until the state says "OK! get in that honeymoon suite and get pumping!" and yes, that includes gay marriage. they can marry if they want.

i didn't mean that. it should obviously be mutual. rape is hot on the porn sites, but not in real life. i should have said "if you want to bang your significant other, that's up to you."

Are you kiding me!?!?!?! Rape is actully in fact very large in real life. When have you heard of many murder cases that didn't contain rape!?!?!?

And although you maybe be having sex in a relationship doesn't necessarily make it consentual.
