You're also confusing Saturday Nights with Sunday Nights. Saturday Night shows are relatively serious, and action-oriented, and often have deep and heavily developed plotlines. God, trying to keep up with InuYasha can be a hassle, if it wasn't for their constant reminders every episode of what's going on - which can be irritating, but is good if you missed one or two episodes. And have you ever seen Paranoia Agent? That is NOT a gigglefest.

Okay, first of all... I'm with you when it involves posts like that, though I usually ignore them and just move on to the next thread.

Sorry to break it to you, those of you who like to RP with Ed's ability: You can't just have your character doing that just for the hell of it. Ed can do that because he's seen the Gate, and what's beyond... The "Truth," as he says... he can do that because he learned how when he was there, and all the information on Alchemy was being crammed into his head. If your RP character has not performed a human transmutation (meaning you might need a friend to play a Homunculus), your character is worthless. And if you're doing Ed, you'd better know everything - and I mean EVERYTHING - about him. Right down to how he acts and speaks (I'm talking speech patterns, not voice).

I didn't mean to offend you, Biki, you're actually one of the better people on here. I'm referring to the moronic people who do nothing but swoon over the characters, and rather than even MENTION something out of the storyline, they obsess over some character and can never seem to talk about anything but that.

My whole point in this is... there are too many repeated threads of this pointless "I LOVE SO AND SO!" crap. I'd actually like more threads talking about the Anime, discussing it, going over the points in the story we like, and why. For instance... "What is your favorite episode?" rather than "Who is your favorite character?"

That doesn't seem to be a big change, but... to be honest, it is. You can love the episode with Psiren, not because you think she's hot, but because you like the concept of a dying town finding hope in the publicity of a theif.

Or you could enjoy the episodes with the fake Elric brothers, not because "OH, FAKE ED IS SO CUTE!" but because it tells a good story, and brings Ed and Al closer to understanding what the Philosopher's Stone does.

I doubt this helps any... everybody will just claim to have a right to post whatever the hell they want, and go right back to posting the worthless threads... if you'll notice, I do find promise in some, and TRY to give it an intellectual approach, like with the one about the Homunculi and Seven Deadly Sins...

I'm trying to turn many of the... well, simple... threads into something more complex and interesting for those who really expect more out of FMA discussion than "OMG ENVY IS TEH SHMEX!"
