Cradle of Filth is one of the best in their genre.

And Andrew its preference, I prefer to listen to Maidens version of Hallowed be thy name a lot more than the filth verison.

When I said it was better I was referring to it being harder, to play or well basically it’s the same thing, but it has an extra oomph ya know? Like they worked the Goth ambiance into it without changing it. That’s what I meant by better and yes I agree preference takes a big role in deciding if you personally like it. I should have worded myself differently XD ... consider what I said changed to this.

Its not harder to play. Cradle of Filth hardly reinvented the solo. They play it the same way.

They gave their version of the song a gothic atmosphere to it? Maybe thats because they are Cradle of Filth. They play it their style. Thats what they do.
Maiden play it there style, with their classic sound.

You basically called it better because of the style it was played in...anyway...
