cant say i know the doves, and ive heard mixed things from QOTSA, so i havnt heard anythin from em. but, this proves that Bass fronted bands are few in number. most are lead guitar fronted.

i play guitar, drums, and bass and i honestly like bass he best. im the lead singer for me band and i mostly play bass. i only play guitar on some songs, as well as drums. if you need any 's feel free to pm me.

I don't know why they bow down before guitar playing frontman. For me, I like The Cure. Robert Smith plays bass and guitar, but I also like Simon Gallup. the main bass player. Other than that, I don't idolize Guitar people that much. I give them prop's, but that's it. I like my bass players, like Twiggy from Marilyn Manson/A Perfect Circle/and now with NIN. My main Guitar people are Robert Smith (he's not really guitar/bass, mostly vocals) and John 5, from Marilyn Manson. I think he's with Loser now?...
