ANGEL OF HELL wrote:thanks man. i use a pick on fast songs and i usually play alternate picking with a pick. but even this song is REALLY HARD to play the begining. ill look for a link so you can here it...
Try and find some speed excercises. Play them on a daily basis, you'll get faster and better.
Or you could move on and learn some easier songs and come back to that later.
If I try and play a song and think its too hard or something I'll just move on, learn another song. Then later on I'll come back to the harder song and be able to learn it easier.

I also play mallet stuff (marimba xylophone... exedra.) piano (basically the same thing XD) and I’m just recently learning to read guitar tabs hells ya! I’ve been playing a drum set for like half a year now, and I’ve been in the school band since 6 th grade. ya you put a percussion instrument in front of me and I can probably play it. (favorite one is the vibraslap XD)! And keep on dumm’in AA PIX

I don't know my chords yet, even though I got my guitar like a year ago, but I never practice (I'm always busy, or I forget, or something). But before I stopped practicing, I learned (only on E-string, though) how to play Seven Nation Army and Aerials.

Im learning Aces High by Iron Maiden. Learning the full song.
I could already play a fair bit of the song but I'm learning to play it a different way now. And soloes. I want to play it the same way as Adrian and Dave Murray. I can play some parts of the song 4 different ways
oh and ANGEL OF HELL, learn what tremolo picking is. It should help you play the song.

I can play Let it Be xDDD (Beatles , duh?). And all these classical pieces. And all this other piano music.
