Yeah, I don't now what he mean ether What do you mean with true metal fans? Do you have to now like 40 metal bands to be a true metal fan, or what? I just now like 5 metal bands that are good, am I a metal fan then or what?

I think his definition of true metal is metal that isn't nu metal.

It's Death Metal. Death Metal themes usually contain blood gore and death, and sometimes Satan or Politics.

Nu-Metal, Alt. Metal, and Metalcore are Metal, but not REAL Metal. The reason these aren't REAL Metal is because they don't have the authentic Metal sound and most of Metals atributes. Sub-genres that are REAL Metal, are Death Metal, Black Metal, Heavy Metal, Thrash metal, Doom Metal, Grindcore(fusion genre), Industrial Metal(as long as it has Real Metal sound), Classic Metal, Folk metal, Etc. As long as it has that authentic Metal sound, and atributes, it's REAL Metal.

Alt. Metal is a fusion genre, Alt Metal will have traditional Metal influences, but it's not REAL Metal. Pretty much every Fusion genre is not real metal accept Grindcore. Nu-Metal, Metalcore, and alt. Metal are fusion genres.
