I need some good music recomendations

*grabs paper and writes* Okay... Muse 'origin of symmetry' and A.F 'a fire inside'... okay thanks, I'll try em out. Anymore recomendations would be great! And yeah Chemical Romance is good, but there older cd's are better.

Wild-dono- Yeah I care about the lyrics. I like listening to music that has some meaning to it, and it being fast and loud is a bonus. So what's the name of the band?

Im assuming youre referring to me. And the name is Bad Religion. Dont let the name turn u off if ur a Christian, tho, they have lots of great songs that have nothing to do with religion. Download a few songs or watch videos at http://badreligion.com/media/

Ok, here's a list of bands you should and shouldn't listen to... in my opinion

Not to listen: AFI, My Chemical Romance, Yellowcard, Story of the Year, Taking Back Sunday (You know, any UNTALENTED Emo Bands) STAINDDDDDD!!!!

To Listen: Stone Temple Pilots, Jet, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Rage Against the Machine, System of a Down, Bad Religion, (You know, any TALENTED non-Emo Bands)

... Are you saying that AFI isn't Emo? DUDE! DO YOU KNOW WHAT EMO IS!?? They are like the hugest Emo Band there is, and they put a HUGE Shame on Trent Reznor's "Head like a Hole"!!!

I don't know what kind of music you're into but I really like Pretty Girls Make Graves, Bright Eyes, The Killers, Franz Ferdinand, Coheed and Cambria, The Sounds, Hawthorn Heights, AFI, etc... Just check 'em out and see if you like any of them...

WindChild, I know how you feel about the whole town of Christians... I live in this little, boring farming community where the highlight of the week is going to church on Sunday. I'm not saying that being religious is a bad thing, all you religious people, so don't flame me yet... But I just don't agree with the majority of things they believe in. But ya, Bad Religion is awesome, old and new.

Let me guess you have only listened to new A.F.I material? I admit their newer stuff does contain a streak of Emo...However if you had bothered to listen to their older albums like "Shut your Mouth and Open Your Eyes" or "The Art of Drowning", instead of being so prejudice, then you would have realised that A.F.I ARE NOT EMO at all.

*Grabs more paper* Wow so many bands! Well I'll try them out. ^_^ I think Chemical Romance is kinda good, they're a okay band, but Yellowcard and Story of the Year are horrid. I've listened to Rage against the Machine, Jet, System of a Down, and Franz Ferdinand, and I really like their music. I have never listened to AFI, but I'll give there older cds a chance before I hate them.
I'll try out all your suggestions. I know they'll be good because you guys listen to them.... AAAAHHHHGGGGHHH I JUST WISH I HAD THE MONEY TO BUY IT!!! I WANT AN IPOD!!!

I love AC/DC. They rock. The cd store in town didn't have the Muse cd, but I got a rage against the machine cd.

Btw guy/girls, can you tell me a specific album from the bands you suggested? It would be really helpful. ^_^
