actually he has a purpose, he serves as a younger brother type to inuyasha and hes the only person inuyasha could beat up on when hes frustrated. If you do not like him you must at least like that part.

Well, I for one don't like him.
I write this REALLY insane, screwed up fanfic based on Know Your Stars (from All That) and InuYasha. Combined. It's scary.
Basically, it involves me stalking Kouga, Shippo being hated, Sesshomaru being sexy, and everyone else being stupid. Oh, and did I mention ME STALKING KOUGA?
Yeah, and anyway, I torture shippo in it. (i'm not trying to plug or anything.)
My friends call him S***o. I'm marginally nicer than that.
I think that he should pull a Kohaku and practically vanish from the show, only to show up at random moments, and only for a few seconds.

Shippou's my least favourite character.

I don't find him cute. =/
And his magic never works.
And when it does, it's only on the weakest demon imaginable.
Plus, his transformations hardly ever do much.
Not to mention he's not exactly GOOD at them.
