I'm interested in it but not really excited. Why? Because I don't like FF that much *GASP!* I know, I know! How horrible am I?! But I just don't enjoy RPGs as much as other games.
Maybe FFXII will be the one that finally gets me hooked, though I kinda doubt it.

I think you will enjoy it, Hmm its not as playfull as the other stories are so maybe, but than again I never know, I hope you do enjoy it however. If your not a big fan I sugest getting the retail version instead of the special edition it will save you 10 bucks.

I am wondering if I should play the new ace combat to make the wait shorter, its either that or some other game.

imo the only RPG type game i like are Kingdom hearts and FF... i'm not much of an MMO guy, and i prefer fighting with armies vs armies, or gun to gun...

so... yeah..

I'm an RPG and MMO type, so that's why I love the FF and Kingdom hearts too much.......
I love fighting games too though...

Yes yes, I know what you're saying, but in that same regard, just don't get TOO hyped up. No game is perfect, every game will have a flaw of some degree. And you are correct, it comes down to one person's opinion, but it's nice to look at and analyze other's opinions.

Sigh...It will be the last current gen FF we see...But then there's always, uh, what was it...

FINAL FANTASY XIII!!!!!!

Of course, we won't play that in a long time, but w/e. FFXII will keep us occupied until then. Let's also not forget Square-Enix's other amazing franchise, Kingdom Hearts!! I cant wait for FFXIII and KHIII.

I believe it will only be out for the ps3 considering all the developers will be concentrating on ps3 titles unfortuently so start saving my friend.

In all honesty, I'm losing interest in the FF series. The only reason I'm looking forward to FFXII is because part of the development team worked on Vagrant Story, which was a wonderful, wonderful title. Everyone should play through Vagrant Story.

Vagrant Story was an awesome game.

Yea, I think after FFXII, many of Square's next titles will be on next gen consoles and handhelds. So bye bye GBA and PS2, and hello PS3, Nintendo DS, and PSP.
