Hmmm I'd say my oldest is... Elvis... I also gots Three Dog Night, Iron Butterfly, Dio, Rush, Styx, Janis Joplin, The Sufaries, The Troggs, The Mama's and Papa's, Jefferson Airplane, The Beach Boys and don't ask me why but I do own the Bee Gee's Greatest Hits... Ohhh I have ZZ Top as well....

Obsessed with: Led Zeppelin & The Beatles & Pink Floyd (though I like their post syd barret stuff better). Also, Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, Cream, The Zombies, B52's, Bruce Springstein, Neil Young, The Clash, David Bowie, The Doors, Fleetwood Mac, Jimi Hendrix, The Who, The Velvet Underground, The Smiths, Daddy Cool, Red Hot Chili Peppers (their best music was mid-80's) Crowded House, Midnight Oil, Split Enz.

All of which are before the 90's. Some well before.


If you're talkin' early 90's, - I love the following: Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Jeff Buckley, Smashing Pumpkins, Soundgarden.

Ehh, I like baroque and classical, and a number of artists from the 80s/early 90s, but there are very few artists from the 50s, 60s, or 70s that I'd listen to voluntarily. Not to say it's bad music, it's just not my taste.

They're cool, even with their hawaiian shirts (which I think can be quite appealing for special occasions).

I'm very much aware of that. In fact it was the reason that I didn't list Nick Cave.


In terms of classical music the composer that I enjoy most is Sergei Rachmaninoff. Amazing pianist.

Of course I love the usual suspects too.

Good stuff Siren! I like everything you listed, except... I'm having a little trouble deciding whether I like U2 or not (been going on for years!)... I adore some of their songs, but they don't quite... do it for me. Bono pisses me off sometimes.

I like some of their songs, but I don't know... They're just not right. Hahaha! I'm crazy! They definetly didn't make it to my favourites list, not even close.

I like With Or Without You, a lot. Some of their songs stir up things in me, good things. Doesn't happen often I'll admit. Songs like With Or Without You, Stuck In A Moment, and The Sweetest Thing (<--- makes me really really really happy). First and the last are my favourites among their songs I guess.

They're one of the few groups to actually sing about awesome cars. Plus I always veiw their music as a great pick me up...

You get into my other music and I have every cd that Bon Jovi has done. Then there is Motley Crue, Iron Maiden, AC/DC of course (How can anyone not like them? The real question is Bon Scott or Brian Johnson?) Ted Nugent, Dio and others....
