I really like Kai, but I think that Brooky is a good blader too.
I don't know who should have win, but I would be happy if it could be Kai xD

Kai is the Japanese word for a meeting. It's usually used for business meetings but it can be used for a general meeting of people. I have a sneeking suspision that the name is actually Hawain though.

Rei <--- spelt like that, is actually a Welsh name too. A Welsh girl's name.

Just a bit of trivia for you.

Well, I know there are different kanjis of a word..but 'Rei' can also mean 'universal' becoz one of the kanjis of the female name 'Reiko' means Universal child and also the word 'Reiki' means 'Universal force'..so 'Rei' can also mean universe..It can be a welsh name too as Vamoose said ^-^ But I am not sure about the japanese name as well, coz I dont know the kanji..but it can be as well ^-^

i saw in a japanese tutorial website that kai may also mean sun or heat. maybe thats why kai has dranzer which uses fire attacks...

Kai's bitbeast is based on Zhū Què (literally 'Vermilion Bird'), one of the four symbols of the Chinese constellations. Suzaku, Dranzer's name in the orginal manga and anime, is the Japanese name for Zhū Què.

It's things like this that I wish the writers for the English dub would have kept the same. Suzaku adds much more to the meaning and legend behind the creature than Dranzer does... and it sounds better!

Whewt Suzaku!
Uhm, well. About Brooklyn's powers.

Episode 50 wasn't shown in most countries, but it's about Brooklyn.
And he pretty much causes the almost-end of the world.
o_o.
I watched it on youtube in italian with no subs.
I didn't understand it of course, but it was neat to see.

I guess I saw episode 50..can you tell me what was in that episode, Another Fan ? ^-^
And yeah,, I agree Vamoose, good work ^^ I would have also prefered to watch with the original name..After all, the japanese names in animes, arent that much complicated to pronounce..except for a few. And yeah, what shadowblader said might also be correct ^-^
