Renee:When Genkai dies is sad. I hated that she died in Yusuke's arms. It made me cry, and that was only the preview of the episode.
Amanda: THat makes two, then. But when Yusuke dies sounds really sad. Better go buy some kleenex then!

Here's some good news:
Yusuke dies, but comes back as crazy, deranged demon! If you see the episode, you'll know why it's so funny.

this was how it was for me. the first time i went through the series and as it came to an end it was very sad because i wanted it to go on forever
