I had those forums set to "No Access", but apparently the board doesn't understand the meaning of the word "No". Thankfully, the board also has a "Never" option which it does seem to understand.

All threads go off topic. I get what you mean by true spam, but, taking a topic off topic in OTD isnt a sin. O_o

But I think the guests should be able to access the Anime Release, and this forum only.

I also agree. The only forums they should be able to POST in anyways. Though I think adding the anime question and assistance forum for posting is a good idea too. That way we dont have a bunch of accounts with only one or two posts made so that they can ask about an anime they dont remember.

That's weird, I had OTD set to read only for guests and yet guests were still able to post there. phpBB3's permissions system is very confusing. But I have corrected it so now forums marked as read only for guests should actually be read only.

We already have several accounts with 1-2 posts, as well as 0 posts.

They mostly register for the chat, I've noticed. As well as register to be alt accounts.
But, since we are a welcoming community, we cant make rules for registering. So that kinda stops us from being able to care about how many posts they make.

i think we should get rid of a dupe accounts. You know? I mean I'd like to stay on this one and I think I must've made three other accounts for testing reasons. well two other for testing reasons and one other for just a dupe account. but like seriously.
