High School Horrors

Kaiten couldnt think of another way to explain his shock. 'An angel? me?" He laughed mockingly to himself. "No way"
He just couldnt get himself to think of himself as an angel.
He wondered what kind of powers, he would possess.
A gentle tug of his shirt broke his thoughts.
He turned, seeing a very familiar looking face. "Hanami"

As he spoke her name, Hanami gave him a smile.
Truthfully, she was quite shocked that she was a Neko.
She wasnt really that fond of cats or kittens. They scared her.

"Hanami" Kaiten's voice interrupted her thoughts. "Let's go eat, im hungry" He stated as he began to walk.
Hanami followed behind him, still holding onto Kaiten's shirt.

Katie and Diago noticed other students in their class going the same way, but their focus was severly cut off when a scream erupted from the direction of the cafeteria. People started streaming out of the building, some screaming, some just running. Katie and Diago looked at each other, then ran into the building. There was a strange noise, like a whirlwind, along with the sounds of bells ringing. The more they ran towards the cafeteria, fighting through the crowds, the louder it got. Bursting through the cafeteria doors, they gasped at the devestation. Swirling in the middle of the large hall was a massive vortex, a portal some where. A boy, cowering in the corner under a table, spotted them and yelled out to them.
"Hey, new kids!! This is your problem, your the ones who are meant to fix this!" The twins stared at him then the portal.

Luriyu immediatly ran toward the screams, Ryohei was alot more hesistant but ran toward Luri in order to gim to run away. Luri fought his way through the crowd and found himself standing beside Katie and Diago. Ryohei joined after immediatly frightened and oddly interested at the portal, she clung to the back of Luriyu's shirt hiding behind him but peeking at the portal

"what is that lu?"
"how should i know?"

Hearing the screams, Kaiten heads towards the quite annoying sound that came from the cafeteria, while pushing through the crowd.
"What the..." He murmured, seeing the portal.
He gave a slight smirk, looking at it with interested eyes.
Following behind Kaiten, Hanami turned from behind him, seeing the portal herself.
She turned to Katie, Diago, Luriyu, Ryohei, then back to the portal itself.

The twins cast a look to their sides as the others appeared. The boy under the table scowled fiercely at them.
"All of you, you gotta jump in that portal and fix what evers caused it! If you don't jump it wont ever close!" Katie bit her lip, torn between what seemed her duty and her primal fear of the unknown. Diago looked sideways at her, and smiled, knowingly, and nodded ever so slightly. Katie nodded back and looked to the others, clearing her throat.
"Me and my brother have decided to jump through the portal. You don't have to follow us, but we might need your help," she grimaced, then held on tight to Diago's hand. He gave hers a quick squeeze, and with deep breaths from both of them, they ran, vaulted off a table and dissapeared into the portal in a flash of light. The portal remained, swirling, but lessened slightly.

Luriyu looked dtermined as he looked at the portal, he had already made up his mind theoment Katie and Diago ran into the portal
Luriyu smiled "ryohya...i want you to stay"
Ryoha nodded. and let go of Luriyu "luri...i want t-"
Luri stopped Ryohei and hugged her " if i don't come back, tell that bastard...thanks"
he let go of her and walked toward the portal. he stood infront of the portal and as he was about to step through he heard running and immedietly turned around

"baka baka baka! tell him yourself!"
she couldn't stop her self in time and tripped over her own feet, and ended up coliding with Luriyu. the both of them dissapeared into the portal

Kaiten and Hanami watched as Katie and Diago went through the portal. Also watching Luriyu and Ryohei collide with one another.
Kaiten turned to Hanami. He wanted to go in the portal. He was interested on what would have been in there. "Lets go" He commanded, taking out his hand for her to hold. "I will be with you all the way" He said to her.
Hesitatly, Hanami grabbed his hand as they both jumped in the portal.

With the sound similar to a large sigh, the portal blasted outwards then collapsed within its self. leaving nothing but the destroyed cafeteria.

Katie gasped as she landed on something hard, all the air being knocked out of her. There was a soft whomp as something else landed beside her, holding her hand. A slight breeze rustled her hair and revived her slightly. Sitting up, she groaned, opened one eye delicately and looked about. A large face loomed at hers, making her scream and jump up. Diago, who had landed next to her and was as dazed as she, jumped up as well.
"Wha..?" he exclaimed, still slightly confused. What had loomed at her now only came to her knee. It was a small pig like creature with long rabbit like ears and a big fluffy tail. Instead of trotters it had paws. Giving her an insulted snort, it padded away to a big group of the same kind of creature, who were all looking at the twins curiously. Katie looked around to see they were on a pile of soft clean hay, inside a stone enclosure with high stone walls and only half covered. Through the uncovered sections, she could see the sky. She gasped as the clouds above her were purple and swirling, similar to the portal she had jumped into. Two flashes of light then a few seconds later, two flashes more were emitted from the center of the portal.
((thats your characters. we all land on the same farm but in different places x3 it will be easier and there wont be any normal animals here, but they will have some similarities with normal animals))

Luriyu and Ryohei had landed on a cobble stone pathway. Luriyu cushioned ryohei's fall and was completely dazed. Ryohei got up and padded the dirt off her skirt and looked around
"awesome! where is this place!?" she looked around "awesome!! a pegasus thingy!!!"

Luriyu still layed down dazed on the floort as Ryohei ran up to a winged black horse, it had a snake for a tail and had antlers instead of a unicorn horn.
"sugoi!! Kawaii!!!!!" she screamed and petted the pegasus thing, which seemed natural with it.

Luriyu woke up from his daze and rubbed his head, then his back "owww....". he rubbed his eyes and looked aorund. "eh...where are we?..."

"Lulu! look! it's a pegasus!" squeled Ryohei in her engrish accent
"k..." he turned around slowly and looked straight into the eyes of the pegasus. he rubbed his eyes again and pinched his arm "...i'm not dreaming...am i?" he said to himself

"nope!" Ryohei said as she tried to mount it
"Ryohya!, don't try to ride that thing!"

Hanami let out a silent yelp as she had landed on something incredibly soft. She looked down, seeing that she was on top of Kaiten.
Immedietly standing up, Hanami hit her head against a roof. She bent down quickly in pain.
Kaiten watched Hanami's actions. As she hit her head, he gasped slightly, standing up, leaning to her side. "Are you alright?" He asked with a worried look.
Hanami looked up at him, in near tears, giving him a slight nod, before placing her hand on her head, rubbing the sore spot.
"Ok" Kaiten said as he looked around, seeing where they were. "Where are...." His voice trailed as his vision was covered with lion like eyes.
He fell back, seeing the unusual looking creature in front of him.
The creature had lion like eyes and ears, a body of a chicken and wings of a dragon. "What the..." He murmured looking around the hen hut, that had a group of the same looking creature.

As the twins watched, the portal collapsed within itself and dissapeared completely, leaving only blue sky and a few clouds. A bright sun the size of a penny hung in the sky, burning white. A second, larger sun, burnt orange, but was no where near as bright and seemed to be setting. A moon hung near the smaller sun, seemingly a bit closer than either two of the suns, as they could clearly see the craters on it. Katie bit her lip again as she thought of the implications of this sky and looked to Diago, who frowned. Another one of the pig creatures had come over and was now nudging Katie's leg and snorting at her. She automatically crouched down to pet it and it began to purr.
"Lets go Katie, we best go see if we can find any one about," Katie nodded and stood, following Diago as he jumped over the stone wall and landed elegantly on the other side. They were in a narrow alley way, one end leading into a barn like building, the other leading to a bright courtyard. The twins walked towards the courtyard, blinking as they came out in the sun again. Looking around, they saw it was deserted except for a few very weird looking chickens clucking about near a hen house to the far left of the courtyard and the whinning of what sounded like a horse coming from directly north.
"HELLOOOOOO?" yelled out Katie

the pegasus' tail rattled, whichsuccesfully scared off ryhei . as she ran bck to Luriyu's side they heard Katie yelling. the horse flew off and landed in a distant clearing. ith a sigh of relief luriyu ruffled Ryohei's hair and sterted a conversation in japanese "you could have gotten hurt...and more importantly...do you know where we are?"

Ryohei just shook her head and smiled "nope, but this place is interesting, and you wanted me to stay"
Luriyu just sighed and. went back put he conversation on task "lets try and find the others i heard someone yelling in english..."
they looked around for katie and and Diago

Kaiten was still in shock. He had never seen such a strange looking creature in his life. He turned to see Hanami's reaction.
She was shocked as well, but had a frightened expression that backed her away from the unfamiliar creatures, rolling out the entrance of the hen house, hitting her head on the ground.
Kaiten ran out of the hut, landing beside Hanami. "Hanami, are you ok?" He asked with a worried look.
Closing her eyes for a few seconds, she looked up at him, giving him a reasurring smile, whilst, rubbling her sore head once again.
Kaiten sighed as he took out his hand, to help her up.
As she recieved his hand, they heard a yelling.
They both looked to the direction of the voice, following it.

Katie saw as four people approached, and stared at them in wonder. They were students from their class, just normal students. She looked at Diago, who rose his eyebrows in curiousity as well.
"Erm hello there!," said Katie in a raised voice as she and Diago walked towards the others, "Did you come through the portal too?" she grimaced, "Do any of you know where we are? Me and Diago just feel into a place filled with weird animals, and the sky is weird as well, to many suns!" Diago looked at the others calmly then looked towards a building that looked like a farm house.
"Prehaps we should all go see if any one is in? Ask them where we are?"

"what are the chances they speak our language though" asked Luriyu.
Rie lightly hit him on the back of the head "think positively, you got me here"
"but...fine...i don't think we've introduced ourselves...i'm Luriyu, and this is Ryohei"

Rohei waved and smiled though she didn't utter a word

Katie smiled and nodded and Diago looked at them thoughtfully
"I am Katie and this is Diago....urg," Katie suddenly bent over as pain exploded in her back, Diago grimaced and winced as well. Their wings suddenly exploded from their backs and they gasped in relief and pain as they stopped growing. Diago grimaced at Katie, who winced and then stretched.
