:shock: I"ve got the strangest feel that if Jiraiya become Hokage it would be like Roy Mustang becoming fuhur.....as in all female ninja's would probably be forced to wear minin skirts! #-o Somehow I think he would try to go there! :| .....or maybe not! :-k

Jiraiya didn't WANT to be Hokage. The elders of Konoha ASKED him to accept the role and he flatly refused to do it. However, he said that he would search for Tsunade and bring her back so that SHE could be the next Hokage.

Interesting to consider, too, since Konoha is in a period of rebuilding... whom better than a reknowned healer to lead this effort?
Yeah. You're right. The elders did asked Jiraiya first but he didn't want the job and suggested Tsunade. That's why Naruto knew Granny Tsunade cause they went looking for her.
