How do you actually kill Ruby Weapon in FF7?

with great difficulty, it has been a while since i played him but a good tactic is using the ability final summon with Phonix, don't attack when it's hands are in the ground

This is about Final bosses, not side bosses. Hm, I always thought that Necron was a nasty final boss.

i would have to say thjat gannon and gannondorf were good boss....and the final aeon in final fantasy X....and metal gear ray from metal gear solid 2 substance...i am trying to beat it on european extrme....i am at the fight with olga...so i dont no how hard ray is on that mode.

...but u can't do damage while his hands r out of the ground...

as for fav final boss I've gotta say Sephiroth from FFVII...took me a while to kill him ~ disk got a scratch that made it lock up if I summoned Knights of the Round

Sephiroth is easy to beat if u have Red Xlll and Clouds final weapons u can beat it alot easier.

Knights of the Round Table
Phonix
Mimic
Ultimaia Weapon(Clouds Final weapon)

equip Make sure if Ruby the whirlwind it isnt Cloud if it is just restart,if Ruby only use the whirlwind once only just dont do anything with the other character just let Cloud do all the fighting. Final Attack with Phonix so when u die it can revive u back
then use Knights of the Round table and after that use mimic and it should keep on doing it again and the surely u will beat it

that's pretty much the quickest way to kill Ruby Weapon, and Sephiroth isn't to hard to beat it's just that the higher you level up the higher his HP gets making him tougher to defeat but I'm sure that's common knowledge to those who played FF7 and beat it or almost did.

the very last fight aganst Sephiroth is just him and cloud and is not much of a fight,as cloud use his lv4 limit break weather you have it or not

I've never yet fhad a last boss fight that I would call hard. But annoying yes.
