Ravenloft (Gothic Fantasy) RP Ch. V "Labarinth"

Lobo found that after a short while there was a thick mist that seemed to envelop his path as if concealing his path and striking at his senses. It smelled like nothign and maked all scents, and it almsot completely blocked out sight, and felt very cold on his skin. The girl seemed to vanish in the mist and made no comments.

Lazuli found a heavy metal door taht had blood splattered underneath it in the cracks of the stones after a short while, it seemed to give off an eerie feeling and the sounds inside were of absolutely nothing.

Lobo's eye twitched. This is getitng old real fats lady! Now someone remove this mist or I'm going start getting stabby!" Lobo waited in the frezzing mist for it to disperse. "Alright fine! Stabby time dont say I didnt warn you!" Lobo was now welling with rage he drew the white fang katana horizantly slashing away temporaily seprating the mists. "Oh I see. I can break this like all you're other little tricks! You hear me I'll bring down this whole place for my freedom rahhh!" He slashed down cutting though the mists a white enrgy flew from the sword. going staright until it hit something a wall persumed Lobo. The energy went up the wall and around the ceiling and came spiraling back around t othe point of orgin. Lobo lifted the sword from the ground the enrgy fizzled out but the path it cut though the expanding mists did not.

Coming across the metal door, she saw it as an obstical in getting home. She didni't notice the blood spatters, she wanted to go home right now. Nothingelse mattered to her, she just wanted out of this cage and back home where she belonged.

She just took one glance at the door, then began trying to claw through it. She was trying to get through it as much as possible. She only heard the sounds of her heavey breathing and clawing at the door.

Not another single sound was around but hers... The air was still and stale, yet she didn't care. This door was an obstical in getting home, it was preventing her from returning to the home she loves. She was not one for being anyones pet that didn't appeal to her at all. Getting out and back home was her only thing that was truely on her mind right now. That and the anger she felt toward this place for decieving her, tricking her and using her for their bidding.

Her clawing became more intence as it wasn't just wanting to get out, but was anger behind every powerful motion. She just made little dents in the door, but she didn't care anymore. Nothing really mattered but getting home. Her eyes were closed tihgtly and the blood from her pads was on the door from when her claws pierced and sunk in. Her teth clenched and her moth snarling, she just wanted out of this place...

The mists suddenly began to change, shaping into a pack of wolves, black haired with glowing green eyes and breathing out the mists themselves, their bodies seemed hollow thanks to the dim green glow they emitted out of every oraface, yt as they changed twards Lobo their feet made pattering sounds acros the ground, whenthey had all formed it was a pack of six wolves. In addition for a moment the mists subsided, as the wolves were forming, revaling that there was a massive plane out in front of Lobo, and he had struck and archway, whihc there were many of in a circle. THen the mists quickly coolapesed in on him completely enveloping him, however the wolves could still be clearly seen, and they were snarling and glaring with a ferocity taht seemed impossible and glared with an almost pure darkness.

The door opened slightly then fully swung open to reveal a blood-filled chamber with a drain in the center, it was filled with many devices, a table that was split in the middle and a dull rusted saw took a place on its side, manacles on either end of the table, a small coffin with spines on its insides stood at the opposite end. There was a chair in the room that stood under a bucket with a large number of holes beneath it, the wooden chair showed many deep burns and spots of metal around it on the floor. A series of other devices lined the walls includin scisors, and a case of sharp barbed needles. Several other devices included a chair with arms that had a series of screws that would rest jsut above the fingers, and antoehr with a place to put hot coals underneath it.

Lobo took a step back on the curve of the arch. The wolves pressed foward as well. The leader of the pack was Lobo's "mother" while no one else could possiably hear what she said Lobo did. "I died by interuppting the fight. I got them to only banish you. They killed me. And its all your fault!" She kept repeating those same words over and over in Lobo's head. For every repition Lobo took another step back holding his ears trying not to listen. "its not true. Its not! I left and interfed so you could live! I'd never do you harm on purpose!" The other wolves backed off as the apperation of his mother grew larger, and her voice boomed in his head. "Liar you're a selfish boy and evrything you touch dies! You're posion Lobo posion!" Lobo fell to his knees and stared repating again and again. "Its not true, its not true its not true it cant be true."

She stopped clawing as the door moved, while it was moving she backed up not to get hit with it. Then teh blood washed over her paws as it left the confinds of the room. The blood stained her white paws, but she didn't care at that point. She was just one to get out and get home.

She walked into the room since there was no other way to get around it. She was still so cold and distant from the world now. None of the blood and the dangerous tools of killing even fased her. Normally she would have been scared or corious, yet right now it didn't mean anything to her. She just walked through the think pools of blood and tried to find away out. She just kept moving further and further into the room, as she did the the bits of bodies were geting higher as well. Arms here, legs there, there must have been about 7 disembowled bodies through out the room as she pasted through.

Nothing clicked in her head that she souldn't be here and that she should head back. She was completely blinded by the anger in her heart right now. She just wanted out and home, then she could release all her pent up anger without hurting anyone...

Suddenly a familair soft but dark voice crept through the mists, it was that of the woman with the harp. "Does this hurt you?" The voice asked, as if coming from behind him, and yet it was lost in the whispy mists so taht it could have come from anywhere, and the wolves continued advancing, one struck out to bite Lobo's arm. "I see m servant did me well in leadign you here." The voice said again, this time coming from the wolf that had struck out at Lobo.

A loud moan could be heared from inside a dark corner of the chamber. "You and I are alike" the moaning voice said as the deformed man lumbered out of the corner, holding a different sword than before, the one he held now was serrated and shown with an inner darkness, yet the iron was as blue as ice, and had a similar irridessance.

As the wolf struck out a white light envoleped Lobo when the wolf hit it went flying backwards and dissovled back into mist. "Its all you're fault." Lobo similed darkly and from the mists came the shaodw fang katana. "And in the darkest moment of captivity the light shall come to the cursed one. When in doubt of that light the true darkness will arise from the mists." While reciting this Lobo lowered his face and it shadowed over. "And when the two oppising forces of light and dark meet. A new force shall come to the world." Here he similed. "A force that unites all. A near unstoppale force that will demolish all that gets in its way. Niether good or evil. Just a force that alligns to no side at all. The power of Twilight!" Lobo's face leapt up his eyes were a glazed dark purple the shadow and white fang katanas were gone and only one katana hovered inches from Lobo. Its blade wasnt shadow black oir snow white its blade was the same color as Lobo's eyes. "Now feel its wrath spectre!" Lobo grabbed the hilt of the twilight fang katana as he did so a dark purple aura exploded from it oblitrating the mist and its false wolves.

Her ear twitched at the sound of the moaning. Then as he spoke, she stopped and looked at him. She gave him one stealy glance,
"I am not like anyone..."
She told him with a hollow and cold voice. She then kept on her way through the room, for she had no time for this man. She was running out of time, she had never been this long without her wood before. Ever since she moved there, She felt the wood giver her energy...

She just kept on alking through the rom, looking for away out leaving the man behind her. Her feet were soaked in the blood in from the floor. What she didn't notice was the evil that that place was inflicting on her had an effect on her. It didn't jsut effect how she felt, but how she was in genral.

Living in that forest she was protected from the evils of man, since she never had to leave and go to the city all the time. Another twist taht she hadn't really known about since she never left the forest too much, she would take on the eviroment she was in. The forest was happy and balanced, so she was happy and balanced. Since where she was right now was full of hate and evil, she was begging to turn that way herself. When she left the forest, her strips were light black, now they were a very dark shade of black. What was a pretty bright orange, was turning a dark redish orange. She was starting to lose the innocense she had for a life time just be being stuck in such an evil place for a mere day if that...

The mans's deforemed figure came fully out of the sadow and he used his gruff fingers to spark a fint and ignite a ring of oil above their heads, which illuminated the room like a brilliant round torch, he struck the ground so hard that the door was shaken shut, and a bolt dropped locking it in place. There wass no other obvious doorway out. "We are the same, we were both thrown out of that world, scorned by those people, we deserve to now force them to admit we aren't just helpless beasts." He screamed this out in tormented anger and with a pang of hatred.

"You are a fool, your powers are useless agaisnt these mists, as they ARE the world of Ravenloft, and they hold great power." With that the air began to chill to a frightening level as if ice had blown over the area, but there was no actual ice on anything, then she began to step out of the mists, saying something else "And I have made a pact with them."

Lobo looked over to the girl. He was slightly covered in ice but when he similed the ice shattered and the room heaated back to normal tempautre. "You think I'm a fool. I know about the mists. You're not talking to Lobo. You truly think someone so sheltered and afraid could possiably know how to conter you're spells witch. Poor Lobo hes almost nothing but a sad shell, and its you're misstresses father's fault! You dont care though do you? The only thing you care about is yourself, am I right what did you sell out for those powers witch. The mists of ravenloft dont give themselves without a hefty price. So go on tell me oh and let it be known if you lie to me." A fire ingnited near the harp woman's feet so fats she couldnt see what color it was. "I'll burn them away and remember how it felt when the holy fang katana pireced you're skin made you burn. It wont be an uncontroled force this time." The fire ignited near the woman's feet again only this time you could tell it was white.

Lazuli put her amr up as the light shone, it burned for a couple moments since she was in the dark for so long. Once she was used to the light,s he saw there really was no way out of here. She walked over to the man,
"I told you before, I'm not like anyone..."
She replied smacking him up ganist one of the walls. She was becoming more and more evil by the second...

She then looked at where she had thrown him, she got a good look at her arm. She then saw the colou chamges,a nd saw what once was snow white was becoming a dull dirty grey. Her eys widened as she didn't know that anything was even changing. She had just thenr eally looked at her arm, and watche das it was begining to change before her eyes.

She was very scared now, her anger was supsiding as fear took it's place. She didnt understand any of this magic, or what was happening. Nothing made sence anymore. She then looked to where she had tossed the guy, yet he was gone by now.

Her anger was pushed back to her mind, as fear was close behind it. She was thinking clearly again. She then examined her arms once more, they never changed. she was different then from before... Somethign was terribly wrong, she had to get home... Right now only geting home mattered to her greatly... She jsut walked over to a wall in the place and leaned on it. She didn't know the man taht was tryoig to talk to her, tell her something. SHe just wanted some answers as to why she was being toyed with like this so much...

"You're right wolf, this power cost me my life, I am bound to this world now and experience no pain or damage to this phisical body, however i can also experience no pleasureable sensation, weather it be the sun on my skin or the wind in my hair." She then began to strum lightly on a repaired harp, the sounds causing an echoing sound that seemed to carry the emotions of fear and depression inside it, as if they were the notes themselves.

"You are jsut like me, yo las out at everything you don't want to hear even if it is the truth, I found my home here, where I could torment and kill all who I hated for what their kind had done. I was born of mortal parents, however they cast me out at a young age due to my person, and I was hunted, until I was saved by the mistress, and she gave me a task that I could take true pleasure in." With that he moved over closer to Lazuli, "I know you must hate them too, all of the pitiful despicable humans."

Lobo-even though hes not really Lobo anymore-smikered. "Is that pathetic harp you're only trick." His voice was low and weak the notes revabrating around the room. "you truly are..." He trailed off looking sad. "A fool." While he only whispered these words they whipped around the room destorting the notes to there true sound. A song of sadness one that was tired. "So thats what you're hiding. You're tired of living this...false life. Well then let me librate the soul within you. The one who doesnt want to hurt people the dark soul I see before me is a mirror reflection of the true gilr lets see whats behind the retched mask of the fallen angel shall we." This Lobo smirked

Lobo the old one with hazel eyes. Was kneeling in a black void hearing every word as it bounced off the dark canverns off where ever he was. Where ever he went. This wasnt the first time he'd been here he'd been here many times. This was where he went when he stopped moving for hours. Only this time something had entered his body to protect him or to control him he wasnt sure. What he was sure of however that either way he could handle that woman better than he could he is cold and emtionless nothing can pentrate his armour. Lobo thought despratly feeling his hope rise and the place grew a bit lighter. However Lobo was to wrapped up to notice.

The other Lobo smirked and looked at the girl his eyes flashed with the white fire for a econd. Then benath the woman's feet a fire started burning away her false skin revaling her true self.

Ashantra moved out of the flames, her body conpletely unchanged "Does this startle you? The fact that I am not using an illusion? Let me make my point ever more clear, I don't regret this life, I regret what I gave up for it, however since I cannot have that restored, it means nothing anymore if I live or die, I will burn in the 9 hells either way, if I do die. My harp tricks can extend further than you realize, let me prove my point." With that she strummed the harp slowly, playing a song that sounded enchanting however polluted with sour notes, that made it painful to hear, and black whisps extended from the harp, plungining into the ground and coming up around lobo as a gigantic mass of black tentacles, which quickly lashed out to entangle Lobo.

She knew he was one of those poeple that were working or the one that had taken her from her home. She backed away from him as he inched closer to her. His words still going around in her head,
"I'm not like you. I'm not evil like you, I don't take pleasure in others pain. I will not serve her like you do. I will not stay here like some animal kept in a cage..."
She told him as she stood up as he was still inching closer to her. She then ran to another a part of the room away from him. She was not about to let herself be used like he was...
