anyway... any one past getting the Treaty blade? i'm still stuck at the top of the tower...i left beecause i was getting pissed off... so i have to reclimb everything anyway... anyone know the order of the teleports?

okay, I couldn't remember what exact floor it was but I remember the color coding.
From 80F take the black medallion then look for a hidden wall where a green medallion is hidden, use it. Next, use the red medallion then pink, look for another hidden wall use the way stone there then take the elevator.

It's not IMPOSSIBLE to beat him if you're not level 23 or over; it's just harder. I came really close the other day again.

And you can get it down there, it just has like a 10-20% chance. But, as long as it's there, and you have the time, why not just keep checking? You can sell 'em for a lot of gil and make decent weapons.

because that sword is not realy worth it I have several weapons better than that, I checked more than 7 times and its still was not there, good luck finding it (once more) Instead I set a Gambit That has Vaan steal and Farm for Loot while at the same time leveing, so I kill 2 birds with 1 stone, I get extra loot (sometimes rare) and I get xp. gill is not a problem for me.

Cold, guess what, I just freakin beat him. I set up two parties; party 1, being Balthier Penelo Fran, and party 2, being Vaan Ashe Basch, with Vossler in both parties. I used party 1 first, using Balthier's quickening, and then chaining into Penelo, then Fran, Fran again, then Balthier, this caused the concurrence Inferno. I probably manged to take away a fourth of his HP. I then had Fran spam Aero, and have everyone else go berserk. When demon wall Telega'd Balthier, I switched parties to my main, more powerful party. Vaan used his quickening, chaining into Basch, then Ashe, then Basch again. I wasn't able to chain 5 times like before, but I still did alot of damage. I also managed to get the Inferno concurrence. By this time, the demon wall has about 2/10 of HP left. Ashe spams Aero, everyone else goes Berserk. Ashe is Telega'd, so I bring Fran in. I kill the demon wall just in time.

It took me about 11 tries to get the Demonsbane, but I did get it. It makes a decent sword for where I'm at in the game. Vaan has one, now I plan on getting one for Ashe and a few more to sell.

Cold, you know me well. You should know that I've officially now played all FF titles (including FFIII for the DS! review on that soon). So believe me when I tell you that I know how important it is to level. I found it offensive when you said that I should take time to level, like everyone else on this thread. I'm not a freaking moron Cold, I'm no FF noob. Both Garuda and the required demon wall are around lvl 16, so being level 18-19 is a somewhat high level to be here at. Besides, I just beat the optional demon wall with some fair and fun strategy; I didn't need to stress myself out over levels (though I normally tend to do so )

And you only checked seven times when the percent rate is at like 10 or 20 percent? You should've checked some more then, cuz 7 times will not cut it. And the rewards, FOR WHERE I AM IN THE GAME, are certainly worth it.

Cold, I know you are quite farther in the game than I am, and I'm sure that things like demonwalls and weak Demonsbanes dont mean too much to you. But for where I am in the game, they can be important and rewarding. Now...Off to finish Raithwall.

Congrats! I just ran away Even though being super high level there I didn't quite feel like fighting it since there was an option to go on. I'm currently in those snowy mountaing thingy thing places and just running around gaining LP using those really nice amuletts that double the LP gain ^^ But sadly...today it is time to say goodbye to FF12 for me I'm selling my PS2 today with all my games and buying 360 next week! But i'll surely hang around this thread trying to help people that are somewhere behind where I came atleast. ^_^

EDIT: Oh yeah...just wanted to ask everyone...whats your chain level record? I got 232 at Bhujerba on skeletons ^_^ Yeah I know, I have no life :p

My highest chain has been in Lhusu Mines aswell, on the skeletons. Not as high as yours though; only, like, 134 or something.

Selling your PS2? No! You should at least try and finish FFXII before you sell it, for I'm sure FFXII will be rewarding in the end.

May I ask what games you plan on buying/playing with your 360? Why have you chosen the 360 over other "next-gen" consoles, such as the Wii or PS3?

Man you should at have at least beat ff12 before, I can understand why you chose the 360, its a better deal than the ps3 right now and has the best next gen games out right now, but man... didnt even beat ff12? sad. I think you should get oblivion, dead rising, gears of war and call of duty 3 for the 360. Thos who get the ps2 before the middle of next year will waste there money, If your getting a ps3 wait until around may or so.

Hey I have an IMPORTANT QUESTION. Has anyone obtained the esper Zeromus: The Condemner? I am in my second time throught he game, I beat it and it was fantastic and wayyyyyyyyyy worth it. But I did not obtain 2 espers and he is one of them, im level 39 now but I can seme to get past those dark lords???? there a pain in my freaken ass... any sugestions would help. "AND" Yes I am currently leveing, my goal is to reach level 50, is that a good level to face him and his minions?

Yeah I really wanted to finish it but sadly I got a good chance to sell the PS2 and had to take it. I'll have to finish it at a friends place or wait until a really good PS2 emulator is done someday and finish it on the computer. And yeah, I will get Gears of War, Dead Rising and probably Oblivion too. I don't like the idea of getting CoD3 though but the rest are good of course.

And yeah Oni, don't take Jay so seriously, even though he did come out a bit...offencive. But hey, that's how he is, when you get to know him you'll know that it isn't really that serious. Anyways...can't help you with the esper thing, unless of course I read a faq but I won't, that'd just ruin it for me if I play the game once again in the future.

Yes, the higher the level the better, You should try casting quickening chains that will do the trick.
