Cather in the Rye used to be a required reading book by highschools..

My how the culture of todays society has dwindled down to pornography and drugs.

Its sad to say they have taken siddartha off the school reading list.
When I was in 10th grade that was my nerd obsession.
Anything buddhist, really.

Am I the only one that hated Catcher in the Rye?

Anyway, for a really really funny read, try the Quirk Classics. So far they have Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and Sense and Sensibilities and Sea Monsters. They stay really true to the books, or as true as you can when you have zombies "eating cauliflower, which they has mistaken for stray brains" or Lady Dashwood fighing giant maneating lobsters.
