Armored Core: Formula Front Extreme Battle.
Manual control is incredibly frustrating beyond belief, thanks to the limited controls of the PSP (whoever chose to place a single analog nub on the PSP should be shot), but the AI system is quite fun. I love how you need to pre-program the AI and commands of your mecha before each battle, while fine tuning the responses and actions.

Amored Core rocks...I got the third for PS2 but the game is pretty damaged now so I cant play it but I plan on getting it again.

At least he's better than Soma. I was sure that it would be revealed in the next DS game that Soma was a girl. But he/she's not in the next one, so I guess we'll never know.

New Super Mario Bros for the Nintendo DS

Syphon Filter:Dark Mirror for the Sony PSP

SFDM is probably PSPs killer app; its the best FPS on the handheld so far, has relatively fluid controls, and fun online gameplay.
