Never mind, I figured it out. Took down the Demon Wall too...hah, it sure was a close one...one more second and I would've been planted in the wall.

Well I beat the game again, I started another game through another old save I had, I missed the zodiac speer last time around but I plan on getting it this time. Anyone still playing? Its still a beautiful game.

I am...I made a quickening chain of 21 hits! Um...now where was I again...? I can't remember where I'm at, exactly.

Thats awesome, I could only get a chain of 26. I am wondering if anyone made it to level 99. Gilgamesh is still an awesome hunt! He has alot of character since he actualy talks lol. Goofy SOB.

I've seen videos of people fighting him...I wanna get to the point where I can fight him! Can't wait...but I'm caught up in Valkyrie Profile 2 right now, so it'll be a while.

Anyways Yeah gilgamesh is great lol, He is funny. The first time you play against him he is easy but the second time its a battle, I was only level 70 and he was still kinda tough. Do not forget to steal all 4 genji armor off him, read gamefaqs to see how you can steal them. I see everyone here that has played the game and its sad because they do not do everyhting in the game and they miss out on the genji armor...

Do you need that accesory that lets you steal rare items to get it? And can you steal it from him on the first fight?

And about Valkyrie Profile...The 1st is on PSP...well, the remake anyways, and the second is on PS2.

No the Genji armor is tricky to get, It snot that item you think. You get 2 pieces the first fight and the other 2 the second time. You can check out how to get it on gamefaqs, its worth it.

When exactly do you get the chance to fight him?

He is a clan hall Elite Hunt. He is in the Lhusu Mines, On one of those bridges.

What rank is he? Right now, the highest I get are Vs.

I borrowed the game from a friend...Actually he left it here one night and I am fighting him off with all my strenght to be able to keep it. lol

But it is amazing. I figured I would get bored of the gambit system, since you can set it up to basically fight for you, theres one part in the game where you trip the alarms and guys keep comeing out. If your guys are strong enough and you set your gambits right then you can literly set down the controler and walk away for a few days. While they fight and gain levels. And I think I missed the chance to get the zodiac spear, but I have done so much leveling lately that I don't want to go to a old file. There is one room with a chest that if you have the diamond armlet on there is a 10% chance to get the zodiac spear from it. So I plan on just getting it from there.


Also Cloud. You said you just defeated the demon wall. I don't know how far ahead you are but if you kill the first demon wall. There is a blue light on the wall, and you can press it, go downstairs, and there is a chest in the center of the flans. With a 50% of getting a demons bane from it. Not a bad sword, I am still useing them. You can also just keep going back and getting more, then selling them. Which I wish I did but at the time I thought I had some money...I was wrong.

Ah, I'm far ahead of that now...methinks that I'm in that blasted tower with like...70+ floors on it...geez...I hate how far apart save points are on this game...

I havent been doing the story much, ive been playing it on and off.. and doing the mark hunts XD

Level 99 right here....then I got bored and haven't touched it since...
