He loosen her hands from his face and looked at her."I don't smile..and I don't want people to know what I am thinking."

"Everybody smiles sometimes. If you don't smile, you die inside."

I have been dead..all this time.

"But are you dead on the inside?"

Pretty much.

"That's sad," She said, dropping her hands. She turned away to look out the window.

He sighs and looks out the window too."I don't see why its sad"

"Everyone dies on the outside, but its sad if they die on the inside."

"why is that?Explain"

"Everyone dies physically, but if they die on the inside before then, they have no reason to live."

"so I should just go and kill myself..I can do that..by sealing my soul away from my body."

"NO!" She spun around, waving her arms.

"why?You said people who are dead inside should be dead then.

"..." She didn't say anything, but turned away again.

Trist came over, patting her on the shoulder. "She didn't mean it that way. She meant that they don't have a reason to live like... say someone was alive for someone they loved or had some reason for doing something. Like when you go to the store, its usually for food. She means that people who are alive have a reason to live, but if they die inside, then they must not feel like they have a reason for being there."

Oh.."He looks at Grav.."Sorry for taking it the wrong way...i'm not coming to my classes today..sorry.."he leaves the room

She turned again, looked up at Trist, and then ran after him.
