It's big! And heavy! XDD I couldn't hold that sword with only 1 hand. XD

It's basic business, when you have a product that is available for a limited time and at a yearly changing event then you charge more for it making more profit per item. They sell them because any special event people buy souvenirs, people want something to remember the event by. And the more extravagant the item the more likely people are going to buy it.

i'll acxtually be cosplaying as kyouraku at acen (anime central) this year, i hope i dont look too crappy!
also, i bought my gunblade at a con, it was only 50 bucks.
also also, if you wait till the last day of the con, most things will be alot cheaper, due to the booths having to close down.
i've been sparring with bokken for as long as i could hold em, though i've only been studying iaido for a year and a half or so, but me and my friends (whose skill ranges from anything between a guy we handed a bokken too, to a friend who's a first degree black belt in kendo, and another friend who is a niidan in aikido/iaido) spar in our free time, which can be quite alot. and on that note i say, the randori with bokken is challangeing.
also also also, aoi, i think you may indeed be the perfect woman. your smart, like anime, a martial artist, and more over, your a swordswoman. good on ya.

well I wouldn't say I'm smart but....
Believe it or not about 2-3 years ago I had never watched a single anime episode, so I'm still pretty new to it. I actually had never even heard of Bleach until adult swim started it. lol I did however become a super addict of anime and in my short period I've probably seen more series then most have in twice the amount of time. lol

I would do a cosplay if I could. I would probably be Soi Fon. Oh yea, does Byakuya not like having Yuroichi as a teach? I was reading the manga and he said that he didn't want to have to use the thing that Yuroichi taught him. I think I remember about the episode that it showed Byakuya training with Yuroichi. Them having the flash step competition is very funny. XD

I could easily cosplay Rukia, b/c my hair is right about her length only longer....and it was the same color only i dyed it not too long ago. I just thought anime was stupid back in 5th or 6th grade, but then I changed my mind after I got more into it.

Wow...people are lucky. My parents let my brother take martial arts but not me (because I "don't need it" not because I'm a chick) and there's not places around where I live to take sword lessons (just a bunch of fields and cows). And Aoi knows TWO martial arts and how to use sword. I'm jealous!
I've been into anime for about 12 years but I became addicted to it once I saw fullmetal! (about three years ago) but I don't have that much on dvd...it's all in my brain XD
If I had to cosplay I'd definitely go as Nanao! My anime twin ^_^ Because then I could, if I wanted to, cosplay as any other shinigami using the same costume. man am I cheap XD
