Edwrad and slid out of the chair and caught the pot before it hit her head "you okay?"

Bella looked up at Edward and blinked. "Um...yea? Why wouldn't I be?" She hadn't even notice the pot fell. "How'd you get there so fast? And why're you holding the pot?"

Edward froze for that one second "I saw the pot tettering so I got here as fast as I could to keep it from falling onto your head." It was true for the most part.

"...I see" Bella stood up and took the pot from Edward. "thanks" She put the pot on the stove and turned it on. She opened the can and dumped the soup in

Edward was standing right behind her, a few inches away. He watched over her shoulder. He silently and unnoticably took in her scent, it almost made him dizzy, not that it showed on his face.

Bella stepped backward, not realizing Edward was right there, and bumped into him. "Oh, sorry"

"Don't worry about it..." She was close, so close... He just smiled "So why'd you ditch school?"

Bella shrugs. "I didn't want to go. I don't like the teachers"

"Mhm" He had a small smile on his face and backed away from her before he did anything. He sat back down at the table watching her carefully.

Bella went back to the counter to make a cheese and ham sammich. "Are you sure you don't want anything?"

"I'm fine" He was smiling "No need to try and be a hostess"

Bella shrugged. "If you want something, just tell me or you can get it yourself" She finished making everything, poured the soup into a bowl and sat at the table. She started to eat

He turned to face her "Don't worry, I'll let you know. How was your first day of school?" he was running out of things to say

"It was fine. I got lost a lot and a lot of the kids stared at me. It made me a bit uncomfortable. But I'm glad you were there to show me where my classes are?" She smiled

"Becuase you were stalking me" He smiled a playful grin

"Was not!" She playfully shoved him and laughed
