I'm sorry... I just really had to get it out there. And I do rant a lot. But yeah, some people still don't quite get the point of the series. And I now understand why people [censored] hate fanboys and fangirls - GOD, someone even called me a fanboy, when they themselves were a fangirl. What is that where you put your own thoughts and personality into another person? Personification?

Whatever it is, that's her. She pisses me off. She was like, "IT SHOULDN'T BE CALLED FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST, IT SHOULD BE CALLED SHAPE-CHANGING HOMUNCULI!" She thought Envy was better than Ed, but never gave reason for it.

Listen, folks... if the story was all about Envy, it wouldn't be very effective for drama. He can change forms at will, and do evil things. Sure, that might help those with bloodlust, but if you want any real conflict... he's not the character to go with. All he does is hate Ed's father, and Ed along with it. That's the extent of his conflict. It's crap.

I'm sorry to say it, fangirls, but... Envy's personality is kinda lacking. And Ed... he actually shows personality, and development of that personality. We know what he loves and hates (you can argue the same for Envy, but let me finish, dammit!) and we know that he struggles for what he believes in. Envy... he doesn't have any struggle, he's not fighting against the odds... he's just doing whatever feels good.

That is NOT a message to be sending to audiences. People do enough of that crap already. >_<

yea me and one of my friends were thinking of if the ed wasn't the main character....we got some er"intresting" result(but this was before my friend gave up to lovin him)but we both agreed that the fact ed gets to shine makes the whole story more complex then it would of with others he pretty much is the realation through all the characters but why the heck would you watch a flat character like envy unless you like watching a palm tree brush his five million times*no offense* :bounce:
