If you think about it, it all depends on the people who lable the guy. He's a villian to some, but hero to others (personally, I could go for either). And you have to look for other things in a guy, i.e. brains, sensitivity, looks (most anime guys have that anyway), how good they can communicate (not cold fish, please). And what you see in a particular guy depends on the girl or guy.
