But everytime I see one talking about cutting themselves I just laugh. I can't help it anymore. Pain is funny when it's happening to an emo =p

What's even more funny is that most of you people don't even know what emo is, and that's all of the people who say they hate "emo". And judging by what some people said, you may aswell be calling bands like Slipknot, Korn, Nirvana, Alice In Chains, Linkin Park, Ill Nino, Sound Garden, and God Smack emo. They write about hating the world, and killing themselves. Not to mention the fact that Kurt Coboain killed himself. So, I guess he's emo, right?

Emo is a ridiculus music genre and lifestyle, basicly you want to kill yourself and hate everyone around you.
Somehow similar to goth ony goth doenst want to kil themselves that badly.
For all I care emo's can go kill themself, not satisfied with your life? To bad, be glad you're alive there are people who would bite of their arms to get the luxury that emo's have nowadays.
And still they persue there style by being a sobby bastard and whine about there lives.
Also emo bands arent entertaining because they all sing and whine about the same friggin' thing. They make sobby music that isnt good, go take your whiney lifestyle someplace else and come back when you get some value and something to prove instead of killing yourselves in your own misery.

obviously, JeanTheBum hasnt heard emo music. he's classifying it in the same cliché. i could link you to a load of emo music, and it wouldnt be all "I want to die, look at me, i'm slitting my wirsts, wah wah wah." i'm actually listening to some emo now ^^ Alkaline Trio. not one weepy line yet in this song. the only whiney songs are the slow ones about heart break. the rest are up tempo, get up and go kinda music
