I know Kikyo is a good soul and has a kind side, but Kagome understands Inuyasha's feelings A LOT better.

Kikyo feels the same way about a lot of things as InuYasha.
And she can relate to him WAY more.
And Kagome seemed to annoy him more anyway.

yeah but kikyo doesnt care to deepn her knowledge on his feelings, Kagome actually tries to find what she can and help. of course im mostly following the manga cause i havent seen the whole anime, but its obvious he gets along better with kag.

Obvious. Kikyo imposes her will while Kagome tries to solve things between everyone.

And yet Kagome accepts Inuyasha for what he is and likes him as a hanyou unlike Kikyo who wanted to mold him and change into what she wanted (like when she asked him to use the Shikon no Tama to become human).

If InyYadah had used the shikon like Kikyo wanted, a lot of problems would have been solved right away, and she wouldn't be a preistess anymore, and therefore she could devote herself to being his girlfriend or whatever. And she really did love him, too, otherwise she wouldn't even have thought of it.

That is true, but she should have accepted him for what he was. they didn't know what was coming at the time, hell for all the knew it would have been the same and she still wanted to change him.
Anyways I'm pretty sure he loves Kagome more from he says in the manga.

I think using the shikkon to make him human was really the best decison he could have made foe his future.
They just wanted to be happy together.
Although I admit if that had happen the story would have been gruesomely boring.

Yep, and maybe, but who knows if ppl like Shess wouldn't atack, then how would he defend himself and her? Though it's highly unlikely.
But Inuyasha was born the way he was and should be proud. Heck ppl suffered for his birth and too keep him alive and he should be proud and honor them, not throw it away at her request. She didn't even think if he wanted it or not, she just asked him straight ahead to do it.

And why would he have agreed to it if he didn't want to?
She wanted what was best for both of them, not just hereself.
I think hse was a lot smarter than him, at times...
but then, most females are.
