Absolute Anime

Chiyuki paused in mid-step. She had heard a question, but nothing more beyond that.

Kuro shrugged and continued walking

Just when she was about to turn and attempt to find her way back home, Chiyuki heard moving footsteps. Sighing with relief, she followed the sound, increasing her pace bit by bit.

Yukina: *walked and saw the manchion up ahead and sighed. not really wanting to go*

Kuro could hear the footsteps but did his best to ignore them, thinking they were in his imagination. Pretty soon he was marveling at the sheer size of the mansion ahead, failing at hiding his emotions.

Chiyuki continued walking at an even pace. She was starting to feel uneasy. The ground beneath her did not feel like one she had walked down before and she longed to remove the scarf and look at the surroundings, but with the day still casting light she knew it would do little good.

Yukina: *looked at him* what ..never seen the manchion that big befour?

Kuro shook his head. "I've spent most of the time I remember in an experiment room. There's no windows"

Yukina: *sighed* i know how that is...

Mansion? Chiyuki thought as a mental map of the city formed in her mind. Had she ever seen a mansion on the maps or during her walks before? The answer was negative.

Kuro nodded. "Do you stay there?"

What mansion are---?
Chiyuki's thoughts were abruptly cut by her sudden fall. Her foot had gotten caught on something loose on the road and she fell forward with a startled shriek.

Yukina: *was about to say yes when she herd the shreak and turned around*

Kuro jumped around. "Who's there?" He demanded

Yukina: *looked around and sighed*

"Me," Chiyuki piped up before realizing it would have been wiser to have kept her mouth shut.
