Luriyu had fallen from the sky screaming "oh crap! i'm gonna die! i'm gonna die!..." as he fell he managed a foot on Katrina's ship's sails. with his weight being absorbed he used that soften his descent and allow himself to jump to glide onto the deck of the ship. as he landed gently on deck he spoke"Luriyu Nero reporting for duty!" he grinned as he saluted. his spear was tied with a cloth around his back,and it was blatantly obvious as an academy member as he wore the unofficial uniform .

collapsing backwards after a few second and was breathing heavily "i think...i'm gonna have a heart attack...to far...but great opening don't you think?" he asked the crew

Second in command, one Nathaniel Jinus, walked over to Luriyu and stood over him, looking both bemused and curious
"Er, Luriyu, lad, the Captain aint that keen on you, er, Academy folk. You're lucky she ent here," he looked at his crew and sighed, folding his arms
"We could keep you aboard though, hide ya from the Captain till I judges its safe for yer to come out and meet her like. Though, with an opening like that, I thinks you might be hard to hide," he shrugs and looks at Luriyu closely, "You ent gonna have a heart attack though lad, just winded by the looks of yer. Up yer get now," he grabbed Luriyu by the arm and yanked him to his feet none to gently

Yukkina sat on a near by roof watching."heh must be nice to have ...."friends" like that" ,she said to herself and started playing a ocarina(random)

Zevil looked at the ship and then at Katrina's little performance "...earthling..."

Luke pushed Zevil's hand with the gun down "put it away"

Zevil rolled her eyes and put her gun away and grabbed Katrina's spear pulling it out of the monster

Millie looked at Katrina then at Lashun "u earthlings aint got many manners i see" she looked back at Katrina

Zevil walked up beside Millie holding Katrina's spear "yea it seems that way"

Luke hoped over the monster and walked up next to Millie "..."

(its the anchor spear XD its like HUGE you cant move it unless you have super strength)

Katrina smiled
"I guess we don't" she yawned and looked at the mess she made "I see you Rifties keep all the fun to yourself still. You don't leave anything for us Sky Pirates to do," she crossed her arms and pouted indignantly

Zevil looked at Katrina "ohhh my bad" her sacasm(sp) was flawless

Luke laughed and looked at Katrina "so miss sky pirate do ye have a name"

Millie laughed "arr me mateys"

Zevil laughed "good one" she crossed her arms and looked at Katrina "y do u have a problem woth our fun?"

Katrina rolled her eyes both at Zevil's attitude and Millie's comment. She then bowed gracefully to Luke
"Indeed. My name is Katrina McCarlin and I am from Earth, rather than your Rift world. I can here to find adventure and god damn I found it. I also unleashed some sort of powers as well," she pondered for a second tapping her bottom lip, before looking back at the others
"But you groundlings seem to be killing the monsters faster than I can track em. The only fun I get is fighting off aerial monsters. And I want a good ground match for once," she waves a hand airily, "It matters not though, as long as people are safe. Sooo, does any one need my assistance? I charge, obviously, but its fare price,"

Zevil rolled her eyes "heh like we need ur help" looking back at the monster "i think we can handle things on our own so..." she waved her hand "why dont u go back to ur ship and shove off" she looked at Katrina "...mate"

Luke sighed at the two embarassments next to him "Its nice to meet ur aquintance(sp), my lady" he bowed "Im Luke Tayal and thats Millie Techito and Zevil Chain" pointing to them

Millie smiled as her name was called "thanks a bunch earthy but we dont need help and if we did we wouldnt pay"

Luriyu was forced up and he smiled "i'd rather not stay on the ship...just fell off my hover board and i forgot to pack a parachute" luriyu laughed embarrassedly "well cya! i've got to meet up with my travel buddy" he waved as he jumped off the side and landed on the anchor chain. he used his jumps to glide down gently, using the anchor as his footing "gotta love being able to defy gravity" he laughed and ran and ran past the Rouges after Lashun.

Katrina blinked as Luriyu ran past, just coming down from her ship
"OI ACADEMY BOY, WHAT YOU BEEN DOING ON MY SHIP," she yelled after him shaking her fist. Pouting, she turns back to Luke, Zevil and Millie and shrugs
"Well if you lot are too arrogant to get help from a Earthy then thats up to you. Most Rifties don't mind me, but I guess there are racists, even on this side of the Rift," she grins, salutes to Luke and runs back to her anchor, jumping on it and holding on to one part of the massive chain
"HAUL ANCHOR!" she yelled up to her ship. There was a mechanical clanking and the anchor jolted and began to rise out of the ground with another crunch. The body of the monster was stuff to the end of it and Katrina kicked at it till it fell back to the ground
"So long Rifties!!" she said waving as she rose up into the air on the anchor

Lashun turned quickly, hearing someone coming toward her. She blinked; another one of the academy. She decided to wait for him. "Were you sent for the monster as well..? I guess we're both kinda late, huh?" She laughed, her disappointment was obivous.

Luriyu smiled but was out of breath by the time he reached Lashun. panting he drank from a water bottle from tan saddle bag before even attempting to reply. "k-k...i...was sent...to travel with you... Mr Armirito's orders...he said that it's...dangerous to...travel by yourself" finally catching his breath he fell back into a sitting position "wow that really takes alot out of you..." he laughed "I'm Luriyu Nero, second year academy, martial arts and spear fighting expert....and i guess you Lashun, right?" he took another sip from his water bottle and smiled.

Lashun smiled and sat down as well. "Yea...I thought I was sent on my own."

"it was enacted a few hours ago just after you left...all students would be paired off and be allowed to freely roam Rift until they are called back...i think it's about exploration and gathering all the experiences so that we can understand this world even more" Luriyu smiled standing up he patted the dust from his pants and put his water bottle away "so where do you want to go?" he smiled giving a thumbs up "want to go sight seeing, monster hunting, treasure hunting, or enjoying the city life here?"

Yukina watched everything that was going on.'"wow if i knew tonight was going to be this dull i whould have just stayed home....
