Not necessarily, if SF hit Eva 01 it might go berserk and regenerate it's wounds. SF wins if it uses its speed and precision, then again Eva 01 is pretty unpredictable when it goes berserk.

My personal prediction for the winner?
The Zeorymer. When unleashed to its full potential, It can wipe out hordes of mecha, just by blinking the shiny ball on its fist; Imagine what it could do when it goes all out.

The second runner up would be the Genestic GaoGaiGar. The Goldion Crusher has proven to be unbelievably powerful in the past, and the Protect Shade should be more than capable of negating the most powerful of blows.

It is still very one-sided. Strike Freedom can fly, is extremely fast and agile, and has more than enough firepower to overwhelm and destroy an Eva in a single hit. Not only that the pilot is a coordinator, a human with increased physical and mental abilities. An Eva has no chance.

Hmm ........good point.

Actually concerning that argument, Technically the EVA-01 would be rather dangerous in close combat, being more than twice the height of the Strike Freedom, and as such must have more strength and power. It is also armed with a Positron rifle, which as an Anti-Matter weapon, is capable of destroying any object, provided that the object being targeted is made up of matter. And let's not forget the AT Field, which in the anime was capable of withstanding quite a lot of damage in the anime, and was more than capable of stopping a shot from a mobile suit's beam rifle in the SRW games.

I cannot say which would be superior, as I have no interest in analyzing either of the two units indepth at this moment, but in my opinion, the fight is not quite that one sided.
