Well, legally, NONE are ok, but people have verying political and social views, so there.

Also, by request of Cold, I'm stickying this topic. From now on, similar to the KHII thread, this will be the official FFXII thread.

Hell week starts tomorrow, one week left till its released. You know how hard it is to wait? lol than again we waited a long time for this, maybe we all have learned some patience over the last 2 years.

Still this week will go by slow.. But there are ways to make it go by faster, any ideas? Im glad there doing midnight sales, puts a large smile on my face.

ha ha, im personally re-playing FFIX; FFIX and FFXII have alot of similar elements, so i thought it would be a good idea.

of course, i was also JUST HIRED for a job, so that will pass time. then there's school. and fall festival...still....it will all pass slowly...

Man I have some good questions to discuss...

1 Are there gonna be hidden/optional characters or summon like in previous FF games? ( like ff7's vincent and yufie or ff10's optional aeon yojimbo)

2. is the special edition version worth the extra bucks

3. I wonder what major twist will happen in this game...FF games are famous for mid game twists ya know. ( like ff7's sephiroth twist or ff10's yuna twist)

4. Is there gonna be a crappy love story in this one? ( this is a stupid question because we all know there is gonna be one -_-)

5. Will there be a reward for beating the game on active battle mode?

6. I wonder who's gonna be this game's badass character? ( like auron from ff10 or sephiroth from ff7)

7. I wonder if there are gonna be any easter eggs...( Like in ff9 there was some music from ff7 hidden in it)

Q1- Yes there will be hidden summons from what I read anyways but realy the only way to confirm this is to play the game all the way through. As for the characters im sure Square will throw something in.

Q2- Hell yeah! If you are a major fan of Square than yea of cource plus it comes with a nifty metal case and art as well as interviews. Purchase it or forever hold your piece.

Q3- Yeah I am quite sure the plot will be twisted lol, but when it comes to the plot I dont know as of yet because unfortuently I do not have my copy

. Monday I will get my hands on the game and with in weeks most likely we can both answer that.

Q4- Yeah LMAO maybe something around the lines of a small one, but I have read that this time around the story is darker and is meant more for the adult audience but of cource children ccan play and enjoy the game as well, we will just have to see Monday the 30th!

Q5- I dont know about this as of yet, but maybe playing it on active is its own reward lol, If I learn more ill let you know.

Q6- Hmm thats a good question, Once again I have not played the game as of yet but im sure you can make that choice your self by leveling up your character of choice, I mean Lets see what happens.

Q7- Hell yes there will be alot of easter eggs, they have done away with the word map and so its either travel on foot, chocbo, airship or... something else. So you can look around as long as you do not get Jumped by romaing monsters..just try not to die. I am sure this game will have lots of replay value as well.

All of Cold's answers are primarily correct, but here are the answers that I have gathered and infered.

Q1-I believe there will be, but like Cold said, we won't know till we play. SE hasn't confirmed anything of the sort, and from the GameFAQs searching I've done, I don't think there will be.

Q2-OF COURSE IT IS! C'mon, that cool metal case, and the intriguing inside art is awesome. Not to mention the bonus disc.

Q3-Ha ha, I've done some research on this one, and there will be twists abound. One to watch for SPOILERS AHEARD Watch the character Vayne; he's the one with long black hair.

Q4-From what I've read and reseached, there is no clear love story that is told in the game. However, one can easily pick up on the romantic subtleties between Penelo and Vaan. Some say Ashe and Basch or Balthier may have a thing going on. Honestly, who knows? I'm pretty sure that there is a thing btwn Vaan and Penelo though. I've personally always liked the love stories.

Q5-I have no idea.

Q6-Hmm...I think Balfear will fit that badass, secondary male lead in the game. Still, who knows? That's just my guess. I think Balthier looks like a cool character though. It could be Basch too.

Q7-Most likely. SE is known for alot of things, one of which is the inclusion of easter eggs in their games.
