How would Gaara kill him exactly? Grind him into subsand? All Croc has to do is touch the ground to dry Gaara out or simply rip his ass in 2 with Desert Spada, or drown him in quicksand with Desert Sunflower, or mix himself with Gaara's sand and slash Gaara with his hook when he doesn't expect it, etc.
can you tellme how Quick sand would work agenst gaara please because I would realy like to know

So does Crocodile, and he's shown much better control than Gaara has. When Gaara can create sandstorms and tornadoes big enough to cover an entire country with the move of his hand, then their control might be comparable. Even if Gaara's control is better, Croc can wait until Gaara runs out of Chakra and kill him via any of 100+ ways.

Actually, that hits it right in the nail. Full Shukaku hasn't been shown to control sand at all, and its wind control is limited to air bullets, while Croc can create giant tornadoes and sandstorms that span an entire country

We haven't seen anything from them yet that puts them past Kaku/Jyabura's level yet until we see more out of them, but there's no way I can see them beating Oz or anyone above his level
